We were greeted in a friendly manner and because we had arrived in Broome early we were still able to book in, thankfully. We liked the accessibility to the city area by being able to walk there. Also we liked the fact that we could catch a local bus outside the hotel door. The view was wonderful. Its reasonably quite, has a well managed bar, as evidenced by the number of families there for sunday evening meal. Also caters well for young people. Location on the hill looking over Roebuck Bay is special. Will stay then again when back in Broome.
todos opiniões » I booked a standard room for one night only - Sunday. Price was ok. Room was cool when I arrived. Room size was ok. I did not use the pool, restaurant, etc Some views of Roebuck Bay - outside of room. I Like the no fuss approach when booking in and not needing to get out credit card again as booked online - staff pleasant and friendly. Close location to town centre and the fantastic view from the hotel.Lunch and dinner menu at the hotel were very nice and good value.. Staff was very professional and friendly and the view when the tide was in was magnificent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will certainly use them again!. The staff looked after my luggage after I check out and were very helpful. Loction Everything worked reception was friendly, polite and helpful. Location. Wifi. Friendly staff. The staff very helpful and friendly. The location is the best point for the Mangrove, with a short walk to China town. The air conditioning worked well and the room was nicely organised. The Hotel is located in a good position overlooking the Roebuck Bay and we were able to watch The Stairway to the Moon. Location was very good. Nothing - everything was ok. There were ants in cupboards and on sink and toilet was not working - I know they are difficult to control and as I livein Kimberley can understand. No outside table and chairs for the room .The $12 breakfast as mentioned in the booking receipt was not available so we ate else where. Hair in the coffee cup, and dirty extraction fan in bathroom. Visited in winter with beautiful days but I thought the lawns were watered too much which kept the ground underfoot damp and the red dirt coming through stained clothing. nothing to report!!. Looks a little care worn. a bit odd that the units do not face into each other. The hand basin design splashed onto the floor and did not operate easily. Nothing in the fridge and the night life was. The $12 eggs on toast: served with a burnt hot dog bun, the scrambled eggs took 20 minutes when we were the only ones in the cafe.when we asked why the eggs were served on a side plate, we were told the chef was 'french' and that's how she served it. We were not happy. Unfortunately we had a faulty ceiling fan, but after reporting it, staff very apologetic and had matter attended to for us. Sme parts of the resort are looking a little tired - general maintainence needed. the TV didnt have good reception other then that it was alright. Old TV in room bathroom facilities hand basin hard to handle toilet paper very poor quality. Lighting in the room could be better. the dogs annoy[ng people walking into town. Little more attention to detail for cleaning. The pool was closed - no notice as to why or how long. The pool outside our room was having repairs. The room was in need of some repair and was looking very tired. The plumbing needed attention. Hotel is need of renovation and pest control. Paint is peeling, there's ants in the rooms (there is bug spray supplied in the rooms), but the bugs coming out of the shower drains are the worst. The Hotel badly needs a total makeover. Food service is not adequate and the breakfast was very inadequate. Hot water was fron an Urn and even that was like warm. Would not recommend to anyone. No 24 hour reception. TV not working some of the time. Facilities seemed a bit run down. Decor shabby. Wasn't resort class facility. Too expensive for what was really a 3 star hotel. looks and feels very tired room had lots of dead bugs on the floor bed had castors that couldn't be secured so bed was moving around. Air conditioner did not work. a bit dirty and run down. has so much more potential. Resort desperately needs an upgrade. The room was very poor. No fan, aircon wasn't very strong, paint was chipped from walls, bed was uncomfortable, someone woke me up at 7:30am to try and clean my room. Not a good experience. The Hotel room was unclean and in need of renovations. The frigde was old and rusty the aircon had been replaced and had left the wall with holes and unpainted the ceiling was mouldy the bath room was dirty the curtains you wouldn't sell in the op shop. The outside is in need of some TLC all in alI I wouldn't stay there again. Not good value for money. I was very disappointed after looking at the website I was excited to be staying at the Mangrove however on arrival to check in the staff were unable to tell me the time that kitchen closed for meals and suggested I go and find out. The room didn't have chairs, and only one flannel when there were two of us. I could have stayed elswhere for the same price with better conditions. I will not be staying at the Mangrove again. The Hotel is extremely rundown and needs a major facelift. The tariff was very high and there was no value for money whatsoever. Far too expensive .
