  I was surprised at how modern the inside decor and furniture was. Very clean with everything a person would want for a long family stay. We unfortunately only stayed one night but we were very happy to have the convenience of been able to wash our clothes overnight! - central, spacious, value for money, accessible.   The staff were very helpful in assisting us with organising trips to the reef. The apartment was clean and bright, and we were upgraded from a two bedroom to a three bedroom apartment. Overall this is a well located an very nice hotel with big rooms. - Love the bed, not the usual two pushed together but a genuine kind size bed! Large balcony was nice, little touches of luxury such as spa bath, large shower, bath robes, mini bar etc. Staff booked our boat trip to the reef for us and they have lots of area knowledge and recommendations, very helpful and friendly!

  Very good location, beautiful view facing the inlet wharf. Quiet but very close to woolworth, restaurants and gift shops. The room was thougtfully set up with full kitchen equipments as well as basic condiments and utensiles. Free wifi. The room and towels were very clean. They are always helpful and responsive to any que - We stayed at the Jack & Newell for three nights in a 3 bed apartment in Nov 2013. The apartment was huge, modern décor, well cleaned and maintained. As well as the pool facilities. The property is located just a few streets over from the CBD, the pier, the marina and the casino! David the manager was a great guy and went out of his way to provide advise on tours etc to make our trip successful. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in Cairns.

  The location is excellent. Our room was lovely and the facilities really good. The serenity pool allows quiet away from the beach pool.
