The location. The road to Vila Gjecaj was amazing.We got a lot of help from the people to arrange our transport to and from the Theth Valley. The walks were great. The food was fantastic and the owners were very happy to provide us with packed lunches for our day trips. Lots and lots of hot water. -

This was our second visit and it was even better than the first. The staff remembered us, there were lovely Christmas decorations which gave it a nice atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and well decorated, love the bathroom! Didn't get a chance to use the pool this time which is a shame as it is wonderful. Staff are friendly, it has a busy bar and caf

A very beautiful hotel, large, clean and the room was sufficent. Perfectly situated on the main pedestrian street, I also enjoyed the moské but be aware that it is loud and starts at 05.30 in the morning. The staff was very helpful in finding transportation to Herceg Novi!

The food was excellent - both dinner and breakfast the following morning were superb, consisting of local vegetables, meats, and cheeses. The staff also helped us to arrange taxis for us to cross the border from Podgorica to Shkoder and back, as well as providing us tips with some things to see in the city. We would definitely stay there again. -

Hotel Tradita is like sleeping in a museum. The most astonishing collection of Albanian Costumes and artefacts. A historic building with a fabulous restaurant. Freshly spit roasted meats and local dishes. Room 109 is quite the most extraordinary and spectacular room we have ever stayed in. Book it if you can!

With the help of google maps and a taxi driver we were able to find the location about 5km out of the town centre. The host, Florian greeted us kindly upon our arrival and we were impressed by the peaceful setting and canopy of grapevines overhead. His guesthouse is a fantastic place to meet interesting travellers from all over the world and
