Absolutely loved it there... the staff was awesome... rooms were gorgeous.... the breakfast variety was great... the location was perfect, close enough to the riverwalk... the Alamo.. Rivercenter mall... The hotel was just perfect. The prices for this hotel were shocking to me, I figured the pictures looked nice on the website but was sure it would be that way when we got there.... and when we did arrive ... it was even better... I loved that the hotel is affordable to stay ay..and It is one of.
wszystkie opinie » The young man at the front desk was wonderful, I believe his name tag said Eric Rodriguez. We had many questions about San Antonio and wanted to make sure we went to children friendly places. He was a wonderful help, and very, very polite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Having the microwave and refrigerator in the room worked out wonderfully for the little ones. We were there for two days, it was wonderful. I will definitely stay again when I return to San Antonio!. We had traveled a long distance and were allowed to check in early; the room was large and easily accommodated three adults and one 8 year old; the staff were very helpful; the breakfast bar was kept full until closing time, never ran out of foof; the valet was very careful with our car; the pool staff and cleaning staff were very kind and helpful; the whole place was just clean and always clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The attendant in the breakfast area was very "Johnny on the spot" with assistance and was very aware of what he needed to be doing during that busy time. The valet parking attendant was very pleasant and attentative to our needs. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay. Each and every staff member was friendly courteous and helpful which was much appreciated by us. The building is very clean with nicely decorated spacious rooms and shared areas. Great experience. I liked that I could walk to most of the places, and the fact that I also felt safe in doing so. I liked the way the rooms were set up, and the staff was very accomodating, and if you get the munchies at midnight there were snacks in the lobby. The staff went beyond helpful. Anything we needed they provided with speed and pleasure. From arrival to departure we were treated as if we were the only ones in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Would have liked to have had an in-room safe. As I said, this was a wedding and we had jewelry, etc that I would have liked to have put in safe in room. Everything was perfect the only thing I didn't like was my husband and I used the valet parking and had three bags and clothes on hangers and the staff seen us struggling and didn't offer help for the price we should've had help up to our rooms. I had wanted to get double-beds but was not able to accommodated. The person in charge of the front desk on the second day was rude. We called for our car and it took over 30 minutes. He said he would wave the valet charge, but he did not. Valet parking there is not necessary, just a padding on the bill. The cleaning staff never left enough or any wash clothes. However, the staff was very prompt in providing them when we called the front desk. During the Summer I think they could extend the breakfast hours a little longer for vacationers. I did not like the valet (pay) parking, but lucky for us we found a parking meter which was not enforced after 6pm on Saturday or all day Sunday so we didn't end up using the valet parking. The only other bad thing was that the sights are behind the hotel, and there is really no back access so when we walked back we had to walk all the way around the block to get in. It would be nice if they had a door off of the parking lot for guest access. Needed an extra mirror in suite. Light switches kind of hard to find. $21 for parking seemed a bit steep. It had a huge closet but no light inside. I didn't like that there was no blow dryer in the room and there was no make up mirror for the women that stay there. I've stayed at other places that included these things in the room and found it to be very convenient for them to already be in the room and not have to request them. Valet parking only. I loved it. Nothing to complain about. Hot breakfast was sometimes cold. The only con to this hotel is the parking you either park on street and feed a meter or valet your car they don't have free parking. The hotel is not right on the Riverwalk, you have to walk above ground about 2 blocks to the mall to enter the Riverwalk. My wife wished there was a full length mirror in the room. I HATE the parking facilities. I totally dislike waiting in street to get into hotel to check in then also having to wait for valet to get our car to go anywhere. Also if we arrive in two cars we MUST pay double for valet parking. The parking around there if not you will have to pay $20 more per night. The bed was uncomfortable. There were no chairs in the room. That there was one tv in the middle of the room so you would have to angle it towards the bed or couch. There was a cheerleader competition the weekend we stayed and the kids were loud. Motion sensitive light in the bathroom. I was trying not to wake my son in the middle of the night but being a middle aged female I do go to the bathroom a few times in the middle of the night and I don't need the light but it kept turning on and shining in his face until I could get the door closed. pool could be larger. $21.00 for valet parking. the cost of the sundries in the lobby-higher than airpports. Having to pay $21 a day to park your car in their facilities. Unknown that parking would cost $21 per day. Too expensive. Called room service that night for more towels and never got them. Room was to close to street noise and kept waking my grandbaby up. the bed was way too soft. Also on the last day the shower was all cold water and finally had to take a sponge bath instead of a shower. Parking is overpriced. Bad smell in hallway,6th floor. Broken chain for window shade. Light over coffee maker worked only half of the time. room 606. There was one young lady at the front desk that was VERY rude! Other than that everything was GREAT!.
