The manager could not have been more helpful, and all the staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was also very good with a good choice to help yourself from. Hot coffee and papers all day. We have stayed at more expensive hotels in St Augustine but will now always go back to this one. location was great for parking and walking into the city center, staff was so helpful and knowledgeable.

The staff at the breakfast buffet were extremely pleasant and friendly , the young lady helping with the waffles was to say the least the best ambassador u might have at present,the gentleman was also very nice, they mingled with the guests making pleasant conversation, we had a good laugh when the young lady said she was from Argentina, and that is what we called her from there on. We picked this Q Inn because it had a pool and hot tub. The furniture/decor looked recent...very nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly couldn't be nicer. Pet friendly for $15. Staff was very friendly, helpful. Breakfast included. Convenience to attractions, very nice attendant at breakfast. The people is very kind of providing suggestions and help. They did not get our reservation from you. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly. easy to find, breakfast inclued. Close to the historic district. Location. close to down town. Felt unsafe/noisy roadway Paid too much for the quality Wanted to get a smaller room and was told could not because we booked through letsbookhotel.com. Close to historic district. There is quite a lot of traffic noise. restaurant could use some updating, food good, but basic and with no flavor. rooms were small and dated, but still were clean and comfortable. You can't control the weather. The old televisions. Some of the towels had little holes, not enough towels left in the rooms, ex. There was four of us only three bath towels were left. TV reception terrible. No Golf Channel. The coffee at breakfast is virtually undrinkable. Room seemed old,threadbare. The pillows !!!!! small and uncomfortable,was not able to get a good night sleep,for me regular firm pillows are more than enough...the beds looked nice with the pillows located in a row, but they are definitely not for sleeping. The pool was FREEZING cold. The hot tub didn't work...water was cold and no bubbling jets! The bathroom looked worn/outdated....big chip in the tub enamel. These issues were very disappointing . It is on a very busy street, difficult to cross on foot without any traffic signals. Our room in the rear was about 50 yards from railroad tracks and several trains barreled through from midnight until dawn. Room was not ready at check in time, ran out of toilet paper at 2:00am with a family of 6, sleeper sofa was not made up when we arrived and housekeeping handed the linens to us (did not make the bed), only 1 bar of soap for a family of 6. It is far from the old town and very close to the train track. Be careful if you can't sleep well at night . Poor quality Breakfast foods. Room was poorly prepared and stocked. Refrigerator was missing a leg. the trains are a little bit noisy. Trains kept us awake much of the night. Needs room renovation and flat screen tv. our room looked and smelled like it had been unoccupied for some time. Bathroom had a lot of rust on fixtures, chairs lits of nasty spots,holes feom cigarette burns. Room located on backside, train goes by several times during night. Walls seem to be pretty thin. Stayed 3 nights, were able to change romms to the front, better. Wanted to watch channel '13', Sports, I believe ESPN2, only channel not 'working',front desk could not help. Hotel could use a major make over!. It wasn't within walking distance to the historic district. It's a very old hotel and the walls are paper thin so heard everything throughout the night. The train tracks are right behind the hotel so woke us up. It's too much money for what you get. Bed was a twin not a queen. Location was not in a historic area of town. Hallway was noisy. Felt unsafe/noisy roadway Paid too much for the quality Wanted to get a smaller room and was told could not because we booked through Booking.com. Room numbers are not clear. Air conditioner was so loud we couldn't hear tv. Had to shut it off and sweat to be able to sleep. Old mattresses in the parking lot. Train goes by the room twice to three times a night, within 100 feet of room. It was not clean at ALL. rooms not kept up, ac not working properly, far too expensive for the low quality. Arrived at 3 to check in and room was not ready until 4:30 No towels No running water When we finally got water it was disgusting dirty water. It left a residue in the tub. It never cleared. They apologized and offered to upgrade us to a suite with a king size bed (we had a regular room with a king) and when we got back from our anniversary dinner we come back to a suite with two double beds and again no towels. Very disappointing. Will not return. It was a dark, dingy, small room with popcorn under the bed. If it was historic district it was definitely on the "fringe". Everything was old and worn in the room. Very few towels. The pool wasn't heated. All furniture around pool was old and tattered. It was the most expensive room of our trip and by far the worst. At about $125.00 per night I'll stay at a Hampton Inn and Suites anytime.
