  Very comfortable, elegant hotel in the heart of SoHo, brilliant for shopping and eating out. When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny.   I thought the hotel was excellent. I have visited New York many times on business but this time I was travelling with my wife and teenage children who had not visited New York before. It was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in New York and would be happy to recommend. It is also conveniently located. - The staff is very courteous, friendly, helpful. The concierge is very well informed, and knowledgeable with all kinds of restaurants; from raw vegan to the top steakhouses in the city. The house car is a plus. The location is perfect; a walking distance to anything you could think of!

You can pay up for a fancy, big lobby but I think this is actually the best hotel experience.

  This was my second stay at The Bowery and I still love it. You really feel like you are in NY not the tourist version of NY that you see on TV (if that makes sense). The location of the hotel is perfect for my needs. If shopping is your thing, then you are within walking distance of Soho.
