The front desk staff was helpful upon check-in when we asked for advice on how to get to downtown Chicago. The hotel offers a 24-hour shuttle to the airport which was extremely convenient for us. The drivers were friendly and safe, who chatted with us along the way. They are in a great location; many businesses are easily accessible by foot, car, or train. I read reviews of the Ohio House Motel before booking, and could not
believe all the positive reviews about the staff. But somehow they
exceeded my expectations! So friendly and helpful, they really made
us feel like they were to make our stay as pleasant as possible...a
claim made by all hotels and motels, but a promise not always kept.

The hotel is a little gem. It was very clean, nicely decorated, very friendly helpful staff, great location with a lot nearby especially restaurants. The beds and bedding were really comfortable, loved the soft ribbed blankets and we didn't hear people talking through the walls. The Chicago magazine was really helpful and Pizza Ora was a great find.
