Metra train station is essentially on the property. $4.25 puts you at
Union Station inChicago in about half an hour. But it doesn't run
past about 20:30 iirc.
Shuttle to the airport was prompt and quick.
The included breakfast was far better than most cheap-business-hotels'.

The staff was so warm and welcoming upon our arrival and stay. Rooms were very clean and well kept; included a table with 2 chairs and an overstuffed wingback chair. A nice place and good value for a "basic" hotel. The desk person was very gracious to look up directions to a restaurant and print them out since there is no computer for the public

Loved how clean everything was. The staff was very friendly and kindly offered help if needed. The bar area was welcoming as well as the bartender. The room size was perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, bed linens also very comfortable! It was great to have the fridge and microwave. Even though there were many people in the hotel, our room was quiet. I also liked that the cleaning staff tidied up the room on the second morning we were there. -
