Excellent staff. Initially had a problem with shuttle taking almost 40
minutes. I had called the day before because I had read so many
negatives about their shuttle. But once I arrived the staff was superb.

Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The area is quiet at night - also if you walk home to your hotel in the evening. Convenient with the complimentary hotel shuttlebus, but you could also easily walk to the subway station Queensboro Plaza 7 blocks from the hotel (8 min walk). staff were really helpful and friendly. Struck up conversations with
staff that make a personal touch in the restaurant. Asian meal was
healthy: rice, seaweed, kimchi, miso soup... Enjoyed a dip in the pool
with my kids and a good work out in the gym with weights, universal, and
stationary bikes. Free hourly bus to #7 subway line was convenient into

Concierge was very friendly and helpful. We were there for US Open & he gave info on transportation and tv viewing, as well as the great Spanish restaurant in the hotel. Spanish staff and food of restaurant delightful! AM desk concierge also beyond call of duty on offering assistance. Very nice beds too. -

The hotel is very family friendly which you could relax by enjoying swimming pool plus sunbaking after back from Disney Worlds. Staff is excellent & helpful. The 2-bedrooms with a living room especially with a kitchen is a plus which is allowed us to enjoy our late supper while our family stayed up talking until midnight.
