It was a very enjoyable stay. Our day started off at finding out that the Yosemite Nat'l. Park had just been closed . We had driven several miles to go through the park and was extremely disappointed when we were prevented from seeing the park due to it's closure. The ladies who looked after us were wonderful, friendly, very accomodating and went out of their way to make our stay very memorable. It is because of their personal attention to our needs that will facilitate us coming back to stay there in the future. The place is very homey, a great place to relax and close to the southern entrance to Yosemite. Next time, we want to experience their restaurant, which was highly recommended to us by locals we talked with. Kudos to the staff!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We loved that there were many dining options and we chose to walk to a restaurant. Parking was wonderful and the front desk staff was extremely helpful. Our two-night stay was very comfortable and we have decided to return to this hotel when we return to visit Yosemite. -

... co mówią ludzie » . It is set back into a secluded alcove of Oak Trees and a small stream running near. It's very quiet but actually very close to all the amenities in the area. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was up to date and clean. That's all I care about when I travel.

This is a really great hotel. Reception lady was really nice. Room was
big and clean (we even had an air freshener :)). The WiFi was good and
fast. Breakfast was great (a real surprise for us). Information center
was across the street, which was amazing. Denny's is near the hotel

I loved that it was inexpensive and as close to Yosemite as possible for the money. Plus a breakfast with waffles and internet and the USA today made it a truly great value. Our sheets were changed daily with lovely ironed new sheets welcoming us when we came in the evening. We loved the butterfly festival and town of Mariposa 25 minutes away.

We stayed in room 9, which was huge, like a log cabin! I got the
impression that it is the best room in the place, and it made us go
'wow'! There was a wood burning stove for winter use. There was
also a kitchenette, with some pans, plates etc. Room was clean, loved

Modest but excellent value for money.
Due to its elevated location probably one of the most calm places in Oakhurst despite being right on the highway.

The location was great. We stayed here to be close to Yosemite, which was about 1.2 hrs to the valley. Mariposa Grove is only about 20 minutes away. This motel is a Great value. We had a question on the final bill and the front staff was very willing to look into it and clarify the confusion. The gal that checked us in was extremely cheerful and helpful in explaining the property. There was hot water enough for a nice long shower. Which is more than the many people at the conference we were attending at a local high end resort. Their water temp was very unpredictable. We did not have that issue at all.

I liked how smooth it was to check in. It was a simple process and they had everything ready when I checked in. There was no need to wait. I loved how clean and organized everything was. The four- bedroom house was very comfortable and priivate. We loved the deer who came to visit every day. However, Judy tripped on the 1/2 inch tile lip in the hall and fell very hard on her right elbow. This is dangerous and should be fixed. The elbow bone should have shattered but she has good bones and ended up with a big bruise instead. The kitchen is lacking in large utinsels and there were only 2 wash cloths in the place. Everything else was OK.
