Outside construction noise worried me upon arrival, but we were given a room that faced the back courtyard and overall our stay was very quiet.
The room itself was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. While smaller than usual hotel rooms, it provided us with enough space for a short weekend stay. The downstairs barista was a great touch and the bar made great drinks to finish off the night. I will definitely be returning. wszystkie opinie »
I love the cozy atmosphere and the helpful staffs. I checked in a bit too early but the front desk found me a room nevertheless. The location is awesome, and not too busy. My room albeit so small, is comfy and clean, perfect for a solo female traveler. They even gave me free coffee and cookies on my last night. My check out was super smooth and quick. Will stay here again when i go to NY.
This hotel is fantastic! Very good atmosphere in the lobby and at the bar. There is a fireplace where it is wonderful to relax in the morning or afternoon. They have a special coffee and thea counter with organic stuff. very nice, polite and helpful staff! The room was quiet and beautifully decorated. I had a great rate as well around 250 USD plus tax.
Amazing and charming place with well furnished and classy rooms. Great location with different subway stations from 5 to 10 minutes walk; the location is great for food, shopping and nightlife too. Friendly and available staff, jusk ask them for every info you'll need and they have the right answer. One of the best hotels I've ever been.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect if you
want to be near nyu. The lobby/bar area looked great, and a fire in
the fireplace was a nice touch. The price was not that bad for the area.
The room was comfortable but very small.
The homey yet elegant atmosphere. An intimate boutique hotel with an
attentive staff and lovely decor - large plaster moldings and Parisian-
style wall panelling is gorgeous and unique. Lobby and bar is dark wood
with oriental rugs...comfy chairs.
Nice hotel and great design! They have a great living area, with fireplace, sofas, free coffee and free wi-fi!! And, despite the size of the bedroom, really small, it was confortable, with great bed and bathroom.
Definitely would come back!.
Very pretty hotel with cosy lobby, so cosy guests seemed happy to hang out there with their drinks taking it easy by the log fire. Very comfortable bed with lovely bedlinen. Great situation in Greenwich Village - a lovely place to stay.
A genuinely charming, almost continental, hotel on a human non-formula scale with extremely comfortable beds, marble bathrooms and great products. A real haven from the turmoil that is NYC. A great bar too with lots of atmosphere.
i stay here frequently and love the homey, friendly feel...staff is extremely helpful and coffee delicious. The new cafe was quite good, although some of the menu selections might not suit those without a sophisticated palate.
Great location and lovely bijou hotel. The rooms were, as expected, small but extremely comfortable with excellent facilities. Everything was very new and very well renovated. I would recommend this as a place to stay.
Loved the small European style feel of the hotel. Location was
excellent, close to subways and restaurants. The small bar was cute,
and the morning coffee bar was nice since the rooms don't have
coffee makers.
Great location by Washington Square Park - and Electric Lady Studio if you are a Hendrix fan. Walk to The Village and Chelsea, etc, great subway location. Free (good) espresso in the morning is a nice bonus!.
The concierge was super friendly and clearly excited about the new hotel. The rooms are well-arranged given the limited space. The location is fabulous. We will stay at the Marlton the next time we visit NYC.
Loved the hotel overall felt like home away from home. Great staff, super comfortable ends, small rooms but for a solo traveller not uncomfortable at all. Great ambiance and great location .
Location was great, the decoration was fantastic, and it was a good value for my money. It really feels old-fashioned (very classy decoration), but with modern infra-structure.
Location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff, Eric the manager, beds (fantastic) , windows that can open for fresh air, my room was quiet at night.
Very well designed and decorated small hotel. Excellent attention to detail.
Very comfortable beds.
Highest quality of all fittings and furniture.
we love that is close to everything. exellent location. rooms are nice and the ambient is very cool people. for all ages but always cool.
Everything was perfect. The hotel is excellent, the staff very friendly and kind. Top location. Would definately recommend it.
Super-sexy interiors, contemporary french-modern, very
hip/young/fashionable vibe, and the location is absolutely
murderous.
Interior decor
Comfortable vibe with a fireplace
Coffee & scones
Great housekeeping
Location location location.
Beautifully appointed rooms. The bathroom was one of the most beautiful I've seen and the shower was fantastic!!.
Hotel was beautiful, with great staff. The bedrooms were well kitted out, felt like I was at home.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful.
Perfect location.
Lovely design with attention to detail.
The hotel is lovely and location is very convenient. Try the cocktails at the lobby bar.
Great Hotel and Location Nice People, the rooms are quite small but nicely finished.
Close to great bars and restaurants, subway, ect. Staff was exceptional.
Great location, friendly profetional staff, clean, good coffee and bar.
The attention of the personel of the hotel was outstanding.
Loved the low key atmosphere and the location is perfect.
This new hotel is great... excellent value and location.
Very nicely designed hotel. Location is also good.
The best, most helpful staff ever! Charming feel.
Plush beds, staff help with negotiating the city.
Great vibe in lobby. Nice room, given its size.
Beautiful hotel, quiet, in a great location.
great location, great stuff, great desighn.
Beutiful lobby. Hotel in a great area.
Sofisticaite, casual, trendy embiance.
Decor, history, ambiance, convenience.
The ambiance and the decor.
good location. good staff.
Location ambience.
The style of the hotel was beautiful, and very posh. The bed was very
comfortable, and the room clean. Location is great.
The confort of the bed, the design the ambiance cosy, the staff so
nice...the real cool boutique hotel so ny style.
The location, friendly staff, excellent coffee in the shop downstairs.
Property is new, and clean.
The size of the room is too small if you bring 2 big luggages. But actually i dont really mind as i can put them under the bed.
Very tiny rooms, bath room was ok, but there was no space at all to put a large suitcase nor a decent closet to put away clothes. Doesn't really matter that much, you dont come to NYC to stay in yr room, but might matter for longer stays perhaps....
No breakfast buffet. At the bar in the lobby as a guest you can enjoy caffe, espresso, cappuccino, water, but no food. Anyway you can have them 'til noon so at least you can take your time.
The appearance in some areas is still a little rough, paint spots on
the floor and over spray on some of the furnishings in the room. No
space for a chair in the room. Seat in the shower took up a lot of room
and bathroom floor got too wet when you used the shower, only had a
shower curtain.
Rooms and bathrooms are small and had to pay for coffee ... I think it
should be free for guests. Other than that - nothing!!!.
The size of the bedroom...
Only draw-back was the size of the room, absolutely fine for me on my own. Not sure I'd want to share it with anyone though.
Rooms are impeccable but cosy... ie no desk space for work.
Rooms are small - they say 'queen' bed in some but actually feel more like 'full.' Need shower caps and cotton in bathrooms, along with magnifying mirrors.
A small chair would be great too.
Faux fur throws are attractive but i wonder how ofter they are laundered. Would rather just have the bed w/out it!! And each room should have two robes instead of only one.
A minibar and coffee maker would have been nice, but rest of experience
more than made up for these lacking details.
New York prices in general... :-) But the Marlton was a good price relatively speaking.
Small room. But fine for a solo traveller. Also didn't like that cleaning rooms wasn't great, for example used glasses would just stay there for days ! Bed wouldn't be well done etc. basically some works needs to be done on housekeeping.
The hotel opened recently, and is still undergoing some reforms. But that'll be settled soon enough, I'd say.
wish the restaurant had been open, rooms are a tiny bit tight (I expected them to be small but these are SUPER small), no writing paper or pen or even a place to write something if you could .
Tea should be available at the hot drinks bar. Only coffee available but just opened so unfair to say really. I'm sure it's on their list of things to supply.
the art of the hotel we didnt like doesnt match with the style.
and the lamps either.
Design of lobby area (unpainted wood, etc.) seemed incongruent with the
utterly beautiful design of guest rooms/floors. Too dark.
Staff was friendly but not very warm
Felt overcharged for coffee ($10 for a double espresso and latte)
Wine choice not very impressive.
Front desk staff was sparse, only 1 person and many customers. With that kind of volume an additional person needs to be on for better coverage.
Towels smelled of ash every other day, cocktails were not good.
Room was very small, but that is too be expected in NYC.
Tiny room
Price.
The room was a little bit small, but thebed was very comfortable.
This is still in its soft opening... working out its kinks.
The room is very small but thanks to its rational design, it doesn't consist a big problem.
The rooms are very small, even for manhattan.
Rooms are small, could have used a bench in the room to sit on.
Really, really small rooms.
Tiny rooms.
No room service or a cofe maker in room, no hand shower.
It was a soft opening, and a few things weren't working quite perfectly (water leaking from shower, mini-fridge not working), but those were small and not inconvenient.
The room size was too small.
quite expensive. small rooms. cannot chenge the size of the rooms but i would prefer a smaller bed and instead to have a chair and small desk.
Size of bedroom.
Room was too small nowhere to put anything.
Guest in nearby room made lots of door slamming noises at 3am which jolted me awake.
rooms are very small.
When we arrived at the hotel at 7pm to check-in, they did not have a
room ready for us. They seemed surprised that we actually showed up! We
waited in the lobby for 30 mins until they found a room available. It
was very unprofessional and we were offered nothing for our
inconvenience.
The size of the room was very small, and for the staff service we received, not a good value for the money. We paid $320 a night to be a forgotten guest.
No room for hanging anything in the closet!!! No Space in the closet,
any drors , ....too small room!! I like the minimalist style but it has
to be functional too!!.
The room was tiny - I am not sure how some people are even able to get
into the bathroom the way the door can't open because of the bed; no
coffee in the room; the staff heavily promoted a "car" instead
if a cab ti take me ti the airport and I did- my experience was poor:
the driver charged me 20% more to use a credit card.
Even for NYC, this is a small room And for $300 a night, you should get a box of facial tissue to use....
Also, lobby area is exceedingly dark..dreary, not hip.
