The staff greeted us from the door man to food staff when we came thru
the lobby to get to our rooms. My gosh! The view of the river was
glorious especially at dawn and dusk when the tug boats and the cruise
ship floated passed my window as we planned our" quick spend
weekend and a day in new Orleans .The food was wonderful and the staff

Everything..We checked in and was told only a double-double was available when I had prior requested a king. We were there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and Drew who checked us in got very busy searching for other accomodations for us. We ended up in the tower suite with a murphy bed. I had heard those could be uncomfortable,but let me tell you the one in the Marriott, was more comfortable than most king size beds we have stayed in at other hotels. Definitely recommend this hote

Manager Nathanial was very helpful over mixup in booking and lack of 2nd
queen bed that should have been in room. Hotel is 2 minute walk (1
block) from famous Bourbon Street in French quarter and 5 minutes from
Mississippi River. -

Loved the restored historical property the wide porch with rocking chairs the spacious room with large bathtub. The location was nice quiet yet close to the shops and restaurants on magazine street and the St.Charles streetcar is only a couple blocks so easy access to the French quarter. there are always brownies and fresh cake or fruit availab

The B&B owner checked us in and was fantastic. He provided us a
map of the surrounding areas and gave us a number of recommendations
for restaurants. Our room was upgraded for free. In addition to the
amazing breakfast, there were always treats on hand and an honor bar
with beer on tab and wine available. The building is amazing and our
room and bathroom were fantastic. The location is a few lovely blocks
from trolley line. We would definitely stay there again and would
recommend it.

Fantastic location! Spacious room, large closet, firm bed, lovely balcony. Attentive staff. Enjoyed meals at The Veranda. Cable car across the street. Bought great gifts at your gift shop - playing cards, t shirts, food and candy, and a cd of 250 photos. . -

Thw location is perfect. We walked uptown, downtown, to the arena for a eric clapton concert. We parked the car and never had to use it. We walked back from Boubon st at 1:30 in the morning it was safe and an easy walk. What made this place stand out from the other hotels was the staff. They are very friendly and comply to every request of the guest. I have stayed in many hotels and this hotel by far has the best front desk service. I also like all the amenities that are located in the room which include a refrigerator and a microwave. In my opinion those are essential needs of a traveler.

The hotel is located in a nice quiet area and by nice restaurants. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful stuff Hotel itself is very historical and interior will take you at least a century back. I could recommend it for special events as well if you are looking for a charming atmosphere.
