Our family enjoyed our stay at La Belle Maison immensely and will stay there again. My husband and I were traveling with our adult daughter, so we chose a studio style suite which had a separate, private, bedroom and a sofa that turned into a bed. The lodgings were spacious and comfortable and were fully furnished in a lovely manner. We were on the 5th floor and loved our view out toward Magazine Street. The curtains are full black-out curtains, so if you want to sleep late - no problem. O.
wszystkie opinie » We had a very spacious one bedroom apartment and it was fabulous! We were able to enjoy coffee and libations in our room if we wanted to. The facility was very clean and decor was very nice. The staff, especially in the valet area, were very helpful. We made it clear up front that we were not interested in the time share options and so were not bothered with any pressure. We enjoyed the whirlpools. The only disappointment was that there was work being done on the fitness area and so was not av. The staff was welcoming and friendly when I arrived, slightly dazed from travel. I quickly checked in and found the room(s) to be lovely and the space impressively large and sound-insulated from other guests-- particularly important for New Orleans as people can get a bit rowdy after a night out! The kitchen was well-stocked and sparkling clean (as was everything else) and the view was lovely. As to location, it is well located for conferences or sight-seeing in the French Quarter, on bus route. Loved the layout of the room. Nice, bright and comfortable and not small like a lot of New Orleans rooms. Bed was fabulous. Appreciated the fridge, microwave, toaster and dishwasher.Great location! We visit often, and I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in this great city. Location of the hotel was excellent for walking to the French Quarter. Rooms were large, clean and beautiful. We've stayed in New Orleans many times over the last 30 years, and La Belle Maison has the largest rooms available near the French Quarter. The suite was comfortable and clean. The hotel was quiet. I liked having a refrigerator and a coffee maker with coffer and hot chocolate. The room was a good size with a fridge, microwave and eating and drinking utensils. 5 minute walk to supermarket and the French district. the location,most tourist attractions are within walking distance,ie,French Quarter,WW11 Museum,Greyline Tour lighthouse,Jackson Square. Would have liked a delivery of clean towels - by Sunday we needed them- we were at the jazz fest and took lots of showers! Also - since not having daily service - more soap would be nice. No cleaning of room (I did not mind, but others may), spa was closed for repairs during visit, they try to sell time share. Nothing, love everything about the facility and the staff. I didn't realize that there wasn't any type of restaurant or other food available at the hotel. I also did not realize that there was no daily maid service and that you needed to go down to the front desk to get them. These were disappointing, but probably my fault for not doing more research. Despite these 2 disappointing things, I would stay here again, as the price is right, it was clean and people were great. Not enough vending machines. There were only two for a total of 7 or 8 floors and both were half empty. No comment! There was nothing bad about this place.... Because its an owner based resort you do not get daily maid service. Bathroom towels were slick and would shed each time used. I can't think of anything. Bed slightly small but not anything that ruined the experience. none. *10am checkout. *No daily maid service to refresh towels & bathroom items. Had to ask at front desk, but they were happy to provide. Towels were small and pillows were a bit lumpy. Nothing significant. Time share offer waisted valuable vacation time. Free offer should have been clearly labeled as sales pitch payment. No daily maid service, but it would be nice to be offered fresh towels periodically. Couldn't get a receipt at check-out. Our "king studio" had a queen sized bed. No "real" pool. nothing!. No free breakfast. That would have made even better. It took about 10 min to walk to main party district, wasn't a deal breaker, but could have been a little more convenient. No swimming pool, but most people don't go to nola for swimming. Their was really nothing to complain about. The checkout was horendous!! It took us more than two hours to get our vehicle from valet! Certainly somethiong needs to be done to improve this process. If I were ever to think of staying at La Belle Maison again I would make sure I was getting a room with a window. No where did I see or did anyone tell us we would be staying in an interior room. No breakfast provided, no water provided in room free of charge, no one cleaning up the room for the length of my stay. Didn't get a wake-up call I had asked for. The parking situation could be better but I understand the reasoning. Nothing. It should be listed that this is not a "real" hotel. It does not offer house keeping services. Nor does it offer a Gideon Bible. I will not be staying at this establishment again. Fitness area should allow parent-supervised use for kids...going green should include promoting healthy lifestyles for responsible families too!. nothing. No breakfast or food offerings. Absence of fresh air in our room. For the first time we were in hotel where it was impossible to open windows at least for several inches to get fresh air from outside. We have never been advised that rooms is subject to clean only once a week.
