  Do not believe everything you read about this hotel!! I would recommendthis hotel. My stay was very nice. The location is perfect for thebeach, eating, shopping etc. When I arrived at the hotel I was veryupset because my luggage was lost in atl. The staff was very helpful andfriendly.   A quirky, eclectic family-run hotel in the heart of South Beach. The James Hotel is owned and run by Sr. Torre and his daughter, and the care and love they have for their property is evident throughout. The staff is wonderful and accommodating - without exception, every staff member was happy and helpful. It was an amazing value. Lots of space in the room, yes the furniture is a bit out of date, but it worked perfectly fine and it was very clean. I will always stay here when I'm in south beach. They are also very flexible with check in and check out times. My flight arrived at 9am and they let me into my room well before the designated check in time.
