The hotel is in a great location. A block away from 51st and lexington
subway station or 10 minutes walk to grand central/42nd st station.
This is also a block away from the 5th Ave. From 5th Ave you can walk
for 10 minutes and you'll get to Central Park. St Patrick's
Cathedral is also across the street from the hotel. We were there to
watch the us Open so it was very convenient to walk to Grand Central

We arrived at the hotel about 3 hours before check-in to drop off our
bags but to our surprisement, our room was avaliable and we even got an
upgrade because someone cancelled! The room was small - as any hotel
room is in nyc but I could tell right away it was very clean (hard to
find in nyc). There was no view but for the price (approx.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the room was very comfortable and clean. The closet was large and well lit. The Marriot Marquis have a very friendly staff. Everyone was always helpful and all smiles. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The Christmas spirit with all the CHristmas trees in lobby was truley magical. One is able to see all the efforts that were made to give a guest a magicial holiday spirit the moment you walk through the doors. My father and I shared a standard queen room overnight while visiting
nyc to see a concert. I was amazed that the concierge desk is open and
available 24-7 - we ended up checking into our room at around 10:45 pm
and the staff was still very happy to greet us. Each staff member
expressed their wonderful personality and kindness in every interaction,
and were 100% accommodating. The decor of common spaces as well as that
of our room was chic yet comfortable; we enjoyed the entire experience.

From the moment we entered the kimberly hotel in new york we were greeted with smiles from the receptionist. Our plane arrived in early so we knew check in was at around 3 o clock. So we were prepared to drop our bags and head off to check out the sights but to our surprise the room was ready for us when we got there which was fantastic. Really from there on the staff were great they even sent me up a birthday cake for my birthday:-)
