It is very close to the airport (about 1mi) although driving from the
airport is about 2.5 miles. It is a quiet Old town location, but located
on the I-5, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure you get ear
plugs or make sure you get a front side room. We were there only for 2

Staff was friendly, parked our car very close to our room, likedvthe mini fridge, microwave and the breakfast included, it was more than I thought it would be (breakfast) and it was very convenient so that you got that out of the way and could start your day. This is the perfect location if you want to get out of the car and just walk Old Town. The swimming pool is a good place to hang out and read in the late afternoon/early evening. -

All of the art on the walls and the fabrics used throughout the
hotel. Great clean and contemporary feeling. I also liked that it was
pet-friendly, though the fee was pretty steep ($75). It should be
more like $35. -

For a best western it has so much character, very nice design, nice to look at and rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained.
Nice pool area and fitness suite.
Lovely location in the Old Town, within a minutes walk of local restaurants and bars.
Easy to get to gaslight quarter on the trolley system.

The BW Hacienda is our main reason for visiting San Diego. Our return for a second vacation in SD this year was because we have found this central, traditional-style, good-value hotel in the Old Town. Suite is really comfortable especially for longer stays like 7 nights.The free parking were good. The complimentary coffee/tea in the foyer/reception were really a big benefit. Breakfast is very good.Free WiFi the best! -

It was conviniently located in downtown, not too far from the main attractions that we went to see in S.D. Great price for the area. Very Clean. Continental breakfast which was included daily was ok. - Convenient location, staff very accomodating, room very spacious and clean.

The rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The on-site gym was under repair during my visit but they provided guest aces to the YMCA gym just around the corner. ironically that was one of the highlights of my trip as the Y had one of the best retired weight rooms I have seen in a long time. -

Phenomenally good value for money. Just book it. The room was well and
tastefully appointed and fitted with tv, cafetiere and fridge as well as
table and chairs. A good cafe was on site serving simple but very
palatable fare. There were also gym and pool facilities which I did not
use. The location was very practical with only short drives to Sea
World, Midway Museum, Old Town, Zoo etc (in fact there were shuttles
available for a couple of these destinations). I felt very relaxed there

now on, I'd rather visit humphrey's again and skip the major

This is regarding our booking. I have used letsbookhotel.com for sometime now. I booked 3 rooms well in advance, & had stayed at this hotel before(booked by AMA).
When we got there, they did not have your booking. They did not receive it. We had your confirmation. Luckily they had a few rooms available as it was mid-week. We had our hearts set on staying there as we loved it the year prior. The front desk says this happens ALL THE TIME WITH letsbookhotel.com..
