The restoration has been excellent,- very interesting tour round the grand rooms in the evening and then we were able to wander around the ship in the morning with an excellent audio guide. Rooms and Hotel Interior are kept original (e.g. art deco in bar and shopping area) and you can feel the athmosphere and charme of old-days transatlantic luxury cruise,
quality of food in the restaurants is good and prices are reasonable,
location is great with a nice view on Long Beach Skyline,

The staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating. The lobby was under
construction, but it was very quite. The room was clean and the parking

stay at the Varden with small extra's like the wifi (could be a bit
faster) the 17-19 free wine and the 24/7 free coffee (which was nice
having quite a jetlag).
The location within Long Beach is good, with the Pike street (many restaurants), the Gold's Gym and the Blue Line metro

All of the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly, welcoming
& helpful. The location was excellent, being only a block from pine
Av & aprox 15min easy walk down to Shoreline Pier. The modern
,groovy room although compact, worked really well. It was spotless &
had everything you would need, ie Flatscreen Tv, hairdryer, plush towels
& bathroom products. We loved the little self-serve " tea-
coffee, snacks area" & not too mention the complimentary wine
between 5 & 7p

Everything was very positive,the staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer a shuttle service to the airport with a reservation. They normally don't do the shuttle after 5 in the afternoon, but our flight out was at night. So they took us to the airport at 6 in the evening. The facilities were very modern and It was very clean. The décor was
bright. Not exactly like the pictures on the website, but still very
nice. The bathroom was fabulous, it felt like a spa bathroom, with the
huge shower and beautiful décor. The beds were very comfortable. The
breakfast was ok.

Breakfast is standard. One of the most important thing is free-of-charge
shuttle: it's not just from airport and back, but it's also
available for you during all your stay to get anywhere in the town.
It's very convinient since the taxi in town can be seen very rarily.
