  Nice medium sized hotel in a good location. This hotel has about 50 rooms on 7 floors, a small breakfast area on the ground floor and fitness room with sauna and steam room in the basement. It is about a 5 minute walk from wall street subway station and 5 to 10 minutes from the south street seaport and the Staten island ferry (a great free way to ... co mówią ludzie » see the statue of liberty). Its worth going for a wander near by as there are quite a few restaurants, coffee shops and delis not to far away. We had - The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the hotel was beautiful. Conveniently located right near the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge, it was a short walk to multiple Subway stations, the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Pace University, the 9/11 Memorial, and Battery Park.   The front desk staff member Christine was very helpful, polite and understanding when our credit card wouldn't work. Patiently waited on us until it was fixed. Nice girl. Very clean hotel.   The location and the view! We stayed on the 11th floor with easy access to the roof. Absolutely amazing! Yes the room is small but its New York! And at this price point are you expecting a lavish Central park villa? Lol. And only a 5min walk into SoHo/ Little Italy! 5Min walk to 2 subway stations that take you right into the - I loved everything about this hotel! It is in great location on lower east side easy to hop a subway everywhere. The staff is amazing helpful. Anthony even took his time when he got off work one evening to show my friend and I around the city and walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.. They was all very friendly and helpful booking car for trip back to penn station giving directions.. Love the place decorations was so nice rooms comfortable and clean.. Will stay here every trip to nyc

  I loved the closeness of the room, and that they did not short-change the bathroom space. The room was proportioned perfectly with a huge bed and lovely closet space. If your looking or expecting Four Seasons but your paying $69, get real! But let me tell you, this is the real New York experience coming from an New Yorker! The room is small like real rooms in ny but is clean and good if you need a place for a night or too! Its a couple blocks away from Barclay, not sure what Ghetto means to "some" people but it isnt the ghetto, maybe to citylike if your from Idaho
