Stayed 4th Dec 2013.Hotel location great, just at entrance to Chinatown and short walk to Union Square and Market Street, only there for 2 nights so good for us. Staff very helpful and let us leave our bags there after checkout until early evening until we flying out. Very clean and big bed and plenty space in the room. Shower in bathroom great pressure and nice and hot.
Would recommend for short stopover, certainly not luxury but adequate.

complimentary bottled water and cookies in the afternoon. As a guest,
you get a discount at the adjoining cafe, which providing a convenient

Ideally situated for everything. In Union Square in 2 minutes and easy access to all forms of transport. Staff were friendly and helpful and the diner next door excellent. Everything on the doorstep. Being in the city centre meant it was noisy at night but earplugs were provided. We slept very well without resorting to them. Very happy with it all and thoroughly recommend the hotel.

The Hotel is a bit dated but very clean, I stayed in deluxe king room, paid close to 70 bucks a night, I must say I'm very impress. the room is quiet large with hardwood floor, bed is comfy, place is clean, the building is old but well maintain. It was a no frills hotel but comfortable for the most part. The shower was great - roomy, plenty of hot water. Central location adjacent to parking lot, a few blocks from BART. The fridge worked well. Never tried the microwave.

Jill and Carloss were amazing! They were so helpful with anything I needed and were very welcoming. The entrance doesn't look like a typical hotel/hostel which makes it like a hidden; it also made the place feel safer because unlike some of the other hostels and hotels in the area there weren't any scary people hanging around or staying at the place because of this feature. It's also not to far away from Market and Mission for any needed shopping, but there are tons of shops closer than that
