As soon as we arrived this hotel captured us. It's location was easy
to find from the airport (though the driving on the other side of the
road/car was a little taxing). The Standard sign placed upside down,
the fire heated outside seating area, the colouful indoor waiting area
with pool table, warm and welcoming staff with a hairdressers and shop

all waiting when you enter. We were upgraded to a room with a larger bed
and docking station (the bed being the biggest ive seen, let alone slept
in) -
Everything was perfect. Excellent staff, special mention to Rodrigo, very helpful since the very beginning. The Rooftop is simply amazing, with a nice atmosphere and good music. We did not used the pool as it was always full, LOL. The location is also very good, with the 7th street Metro station 2 blocks away.

The location is great- in the centre of the town, close to the Metro, all biggest shopping malls are around the hotel, there are a lot of cafes near the hotel, the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast is nice, the staff was very helpfull! - great location. great staff. clean rooms at a good price and very close to everything. good free br

Everything...The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was beautiful. When I arrived I walked into the filming of an HBO sitcom in the lobby!! My stay at the Hilton was just one more thing that I loved about my visit to California -

The photo's do not do this hotel justice! The essence of this hotel of rich history or sport, that dark, seductive feel to the rooms- it really was such a wonderful stay! Loved the old historic building and location. Everyone was very nice.. I

I liked the fact that it is an old hotel, which has a lot of class. I have been there before and with a city the size of LA, I feel comfortable with the location. I requested the highest floor possible and the quietest area and my requests were honored.

My wife and I stayed here a couple nights. The facilities were great, staff was wonderful and very helpful my only complaint was I had asked for champagne chocolate dipped strawberries and rose petals on the bed for the first night.
