What wasn't there to like! The staff was absolutely wonderful. My BF and I were in town to celebrate his birthday. I requested a special set up in our room before we returned from dinner one evening and Seth knocked it outta the park! Every detail of my request was perfect. The grounds are very well manicured, a small table outside our room was perfect for evening wine and cheese as well as morning coffee. Snuggling by the fireplace after exploring all day. The breakfast delivered every morni.
wszystkie opinie » It was placed well in Carmel. Close to everything. The room was amazing. The staff did everything to make you feel welcome. When we checked out I left my charger in the room and they called me to let me know they had it. I found that it is pet freindly and the breakfast delivered to the room in the morning was a nice touch. I loved this place and will stay here again when we visit Carmel again. Helpful staff, great location (ten minutes walking from the beach, 5 minutes from Carmel's main street) but in a quite zone. Just in front of a very nice and good sport bar (Brophy's). Nice pool, wonderful flowers, charming room with fireplace and cozy stile. The basket with the breakfast in front of your door every morning, the hall with both tea and coffe, and fresh cookies for the guests. The staff was very welcoming and friendly! The rooms are clean, large, and comfortable. We had a lovely fireplace in ours. The staff leaves coolers with an ample breakfast each morning outside each guest's door. The location is great - just a few blocks from the main downtown area. Highly recommend the Svendsgaard Inn!. We loved the location! The service! And how comfortable and nice it was for the affordable cost. We especially loved the added touch of the breakfast to our room every morning. I would recommend this place to anyone! And already have as we continued our California trip once leaving and meeting new people on our way!. The Location, this is a great little hotel. Loved having a pool which seemed to be a bonus looking at similar establishments nearby who did not appear to have one. It was great taking a dip after a days hiking. Staff not overbearing. Somehow, we were booked with 5 rooms instead of just 2, so it took some time to work out, but I think it got squared away!!. Facilities are a little old, room not cleaned and ready for our arrival at 4pm. #17 bed a little hard. Overpriced compared to others by about 15%. I would have gladly forgone the free breakfast basket. Cold tile floors Cabinets in kitchen and bath old. Fixtures were not updated for the period of the inn. Very small bathroom. No air conditioning or air circulation. Bar located directly across the street with doors open due to hot weather. Too noisy. A little tired, rooms need an upgrade. Pool needed to be cleaned.
