Great location and chill atmosphere. The hostel is about a 5 min walk from two metro stations and the main train station, and there's a pub next door. The owner Sergei was helpful and friendly. I'd stay here again. Very friendly staff that cares a lot about cleanliness and other service to guests. Ideal location and facility for single backpackers or small groups who arrive/depart by train.
wszystkie opinie » Sergie was the best host I have met in a long time. Friendly atmosphere Chamber No 6 is a cool bar close by Main Railway is very close and it is a nice walk into Kiev. Economicaly so reasonable. The hostel was really close to station. Room was clean and comfortable- well air-conditioned. The staff was so nice, friendly and flexible. A really friendly owner Sergey, location (5 min from railway station and metro, a product store nearby, close to botanical garden). Is very good for its price. Stuff is excellent! Thanks a lot to Sergey! The atmosphere is very friendly. Good location - 3 minutes walk from the railway station and 2 metro stations. The price is very good, 21€ for a dobule bedded room you can't ask more, very good deal. The stuff were very friendly thank you for all the infos!. Few remarks for couples: the room for 2 is twin without an option to make it a double bed. And is located just next to a sometimes loud common kitchen, with no sound barrier and no lock. There is only one bathroom and the toilet brush NEEDS to be replaced. Front door is noisy and no quiet time there was one guy on his laptop in the dorm every night until 5am........ It was too difficult to find. Even you have a right map, still it's so difficult since there's almost no sign at all. Also, the hostel was run by only one person, so there's huge problem when he's out. Nonetheless, I was satisfied at last. Only one WC which is not convinient as 16 people can stay in the hostel at the same time. Some guys were sleeping in common room which was a little bit strange (and not hygienic as far as soft chairs were not cleaned after that). There is only one thing. The entire hostel has only one toilet and one shower. And both of them are in the same premises. So if you want to use the toilet and somebody is taking a shower you have to wait a lot. There are no wardrobe :(. Kitchen is small, but they have everyone for your travel needs. there are no keys in a double room. Double private room extremely small and nothing there except one bed, even no a small shelf to put a cup. not very clean and lots of dust. private room was next to the kitchen and door does not reach the floor, so huge opening between door and the floor, therefore no privacy and noise. Bathroom and toilet together and only one for the whole hostel, so busy all the time (esp. in the morning). There was no key for the room :). We rent double room because we want be tet-a-tet. But personal don't give key from room, tell "no reason for lock this room" And kitchen near entry to our room - it's a terrible. No tet-a-tet when I saw how people boil tea and clean tooth. just the one bathroom. only one bathroom with shower AND toilet for the whole hostel. Not too clean. Staff speakes bad English. Toilet smells.
