Prior to our stay all our questions were answered fully by emails from the proprietors. When we arrived we were very impressed by the ambience and feel of the hotel. Our stay was enhanced by the friendly, helpful and efficient proprietors, the massive comfortable bed in a delightfully airy, clean room, not to mention the most marvellous breakfasts.

We liked everything about our stay at the Villa Marina.Peter&Viv are the perfect hosts.Our room was spotless and comfortable.A fantastic power shower,even the towels smelt fresh&clean.The breakfasts were delicious,cooked to order,it all tasted amazing.We can't wait to go back for our third visit.

The stay was magnificent. Hotel staff were very helpful and extreemly polite, the hotel itself was very clean and tidy, and the room was refurbished to a very high standard. Ferndale hotel is on its own nestled high up on a ledge surrounded by trees making it a very cosy romantic place to stay just what we wanted and the four poster room number 6 was clean and the bed was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the stay at this hotel. It is located in a beautiful location. The restaurant had views of the bay/seafront. Our room was located on Belgrave rd, so we had wonderful views of the gardens in Abbey Park. The breakfast was wonderful and very comprehensive! My 4 yr old son wanted to buy the hotel (we were in Torquay viewing properties). -
