The facilities including pool and jacuzzi, friendleness of the staff, and the included breakfast was lovely. We would deffinately come back. all the staff were friendly and more than willing to stop whatever they where doing to help you out. All staff, from the manager down, were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble in order to ensure their guests were fully satisfied.

Warm comfortable lounges. locality. I liked the position of the Hotel - short walk to main promenade. The greeting we received from the Manager on arrival was superb, very easy going and informative. Breakfast was good and the staff again very obliging. Front door security system was impressive. The pool area and breakfast. Tour of hotel given by receptionist very helpful.cost. The people were friendly and the pool was nice.staff were polite,friendly and efficient. THe Pool. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We received a really warm welcome throughout our stay. Location ok, Staff friendly and helpfull, Good Breakfast. Goodvalue for money. staff were so friendly - wish more hotels were like them. central and friendly. The staff were very friendly and tried to make us comfortable but the price reflected the condition of the premises which are badly in need of updating. We spent our days in the town and only returned to sleep. The sheets were clean and the breakfast good but I would have liked to see the rooms and general premises more updated. easy to get to and close to facilties. very pleasent receptionist. the swimming pool. nothing really, may be locality. friendly managemant. The family who ran the hotel were pleasant and seemed new to the industry so I believe they were trying. food, indoor pool. poor. location. Maybe the shower facilities could be a little bit bigger. The decor was dated and in need of modernisation and tidying up (edges of wallpaper coming away etc) but it didnt affect our stay. Some renovation work being carried out in main reception - but no noise from this. Hotel currently in process of being tidied up, some decorating needed, but it is being carried out and was reflected in price. Breakfast not as stated on menu card, the double room was very small. room was too cold. In need or refurbishment in our bedroom, particularly bathroom. I think refurb plan in place.I booked a double room but the room we were given was two singles pushed together (not comfy) - the room was small (but clean) but very tatty. As we were only staying two nights and not hoping to be in the room for a long period of time I didnt complain. If I was staying for longer I would of requested a different room. It is under new ownership and you can see they are starting to renovate. The state of the room, it had damp patches on the wall and threadbare carpets, however the bathroom was good, looked as though recently fitted.The room was very, very small (could only just walk around the bed) and the bathroom was tiny, compared with our family's rooms (who also stayed there) our room was rubbish and a bit disappointing (especially seeing as we booked first and if it wasn't for us they wouldn't have had 6 other people staying there!). bedrooms very tired and need updating - ensuite facilities need total refurbishing. The Chef and the lateness a disco went on. Hotel is in general need of a refurb, work looks to have started butlong way to go.mould in the bathroom and the cleanliness. Very noise at night with doors banging,rooms could do with upgrading, saniflo fitted in rooms which make a noise,you can even here next doors goin. room not ready, very poor standard, cold, mildew in the bathroom, breakfast cold. the bar shut about ten, you had to pay to use the intenet. The room was disgusting, dirty and right by toilets that were used by people using the bar. So a very noisy place to be. Nothing was in order. shower and toilet broken, pool table was broken. very old sofa, tele and carpet,room very cold. I have got no idea what does hotel's manager do.rooms towels not clean, bathroom door didnt shut,poor view. cracked bath, heating not working for a day, hot water not working for 2 days, ghastly food almost inedible, noise of staff and other residents. Fire alarm going off every morning and 3 times before 8.30 one day. Alarm clock was unusable, cream for coffeee in room was out of date and went all lumpy. My sister had to clean the toilet in her room before using it. The road the hotel was on was used by the local young people to race up and down until 1.30am.drab, grim room; shabby common areas;. Hotel extremely delapidated, paper hanging off walls and roofs, window frames rotten and woodwork throughout requires painted. Matresses uncomfortable, even basic facilitys such as hair driers not available as standard in rooms, (could be hired for £5 deposit, not something expected in modern hotels). Every floorboard creaked, plumbing noisy, grounds overgrown, foilage partially blocking firedoors.Damp in room, disorganised breakfast service! Overlooked road- their website implies sea/garden views. worst i have ever seen. it was mouldy, smelt, the staff woke us one night with a drunken row, we checked out a day early as the hotel was disgusting. Rooms very small and cramped, we did not get a full english breakfast as paid for in the cost of the room.
