  This was a nice friendly local hotel - although the building and surroundings itself was not all that attractive the plants outside were nice and there had been a lot of thought btaken over the internal decorations, such as some nice artwork.   It was like spending a weekend in the country with good friends! The young staff could not do enough for us. The room was newly-refurbed with spanking new shower room and all spotlessly clean. Food was wonderful, especially Fiona's epic breakfasts! We will certainly return for more, probably in the summer. - Highly recommended. We are only sorry that our stay was for one night. We will definitely be returning.
