We had a nice room, clean and comfortable. An absolutely great beer garden with wonderful meals! The whole location, including the pub, the meadow in the backyard and the playing area for children, a horse next to it, the house, the room...everything was fine! Our dinner was delicious, really! I could sleep with opened windows, it was absolutely quiet in Tintagel, after the day visitors left. The surrounding is beautiful. Its nice to walk a bit through Tintagel. They have a wonderful bakery, f. wszystkie opinie »
The hotel was right in the middle of the main street. The staff were very friendly and the garden out the back was full of children having a great time. The pub/ restaurant was packed with happy people and the rooms were comfy, like staying at a friend's house! Recommended!.
We liked the central position of this Hotel and the on site parking. Breakfast was adequate as long as you wanted the "full English" but the restaurant food was excellent with plenty of choice, good portions and all at a reasonable price.
Parking on site. Lovely outside eating area and food was good.
Tintagel is a lovely little village - lots of tourists but if you head out during the day they are gone late afternoon. Walks from Tintagel along coastal paths great.
Centrally located
Plenty of car parking
Clean, spacious (family) room
Good choice of drinks in the bar
If you are prepared for the possible downside, it offers good value for money accommodation.
Location was perfect, on the main street of Tintagel, an easy walk to the castle. It had a well-stocked bar and a pleasant outside patio for evening dining. Great place for a short-stay.
The hotel is right on the main street of Tintagel with ample parking out the back. Quiet guest accomodation, good food, and a friendly resident cat. Cannot praise it enough.
Hotel was perfect - lots of parking, excellent food in the restaurant (can recommend the curry & steak & kidney pie), helpful staff, nice pub cat.
The staff were so friendly, especially AMY, she is a credit to the establishment, such a friendly woman.
Will definitely come back.
Cornwell like we expected. Very nice place to stay and carry on discovering. By walking around felt the spirit of King Arthur.
Friendly and efficient staff.
Excellent location.
Good parking available.

Good atmosphere good food, good value. Would recommend to family and friends.a pleasant surprise. Would visit again.
It's a pub and inn, which was a nice experience. Tintagel is a lovely place, and the Cornishman is well located .
Cosy atmosphere. Comfortable bed. Good view from room. Log fire in bar. Breakfast. Staff.

Location.
Breakfast was OK but not brilliant room was very hot and noise at night OK for one night stay.
Our room was a little jaded but welcoming after a long walk along the coastal path.
Was a bit noisy in the lane way after inn closed, but only a minor inconvenience overall.
Very busy (family) bar so sometimes slow service and noisy at night.
The triple room was cramped and noisy, being on the front of the building -- earplugs recommended. The bathroom was tiny -- barely room to turn round. The shower drain was clogged.
Nothing - it was all good.
Nothing, everything was good - just a small thing to note is that the shower cubicle was in the bedroom itself (not in en-suite with toilet / sink) - did not bother us, but may not suit some.
Very slow Wi-Fi.
nothing.
A bit of a bother checking out before their deadline, as the pub/desk wasn't staffed and we had to chase down someone after a 10 minute wait for someone to return.
Decor needs attention
Dust and cobwebs on lampshades
Grubby cushions on bed.
the bedroom was quite dusty and the mirrors were dirty.
*shower in the corner of the bedroom
*lack of air circulation.
Breakfast inefficient and time consuming. Children ran amok in the dining area as the adults only room was small and fully reserved. Not an issue had we known in advance and were able to reserve as well or book elsewhere.
Breakfast room cold and waiting time too long.
The fact that people were this on the premises after closing time which disturbed us as paying guests and we feel there should be a set time to leave.
The bedroom light shade!.
noise at night from local revellers.
Over priced, didn't find the manager particlarly helpful or
friendly.
The covers & cushions in the bedroom needed replacing, and the bedrooms are small...Towels needed replacing...but a good over-night stay.
very smelly bar because men's washroom major problem. Had to move to other bar as could not stand bad smell in the bar with the fireplace.
