We had a wonderful stay at the Cargo. The staff was terrific and extremely accommodating for all needs. Jude and Raven were exceptional in their dealings with guests. The location was excellent for sightseeing Southampton. The staff was very helpful in advising how to get to London and the surrounding area. We enjoyed the activity on the Lower(ground floor) level. Breakfast was excellent. The young man that was there overnight was also Extremely helpful at all times. he provided excelle.
wszystkie opinie » Staff were very friendly and accommodating, which made us feel at home. The (loft) room was clean and stylish, with comfy beds (one double and one sofa bed). Very busy in the bar in the evening with a great atmosphere; and in the morning we woke up to a really nice breakfast to start the day before our departure. Thank you to all the staff from both of us. It was a lovely stay, and we were sad to leave! x. The atmosphere, staff were great, rooms were beautiful. Great location, good price. The waitress forgot to take our menus away and also left the wine glasses on the table. She was lovely though, no complaints about the service, just a knowledge gap. the shower was broken and single glazed windows let in alot of noise from the bar below. the bump on my head from the low ceiling in our bedroom (and the stairs to up to it). Nothing. No elevator (lift) walk up narrow stairs. Very noisy room, pub patrons are very loud and the front rooms do not protect you from noise. Food was mediocore, if they had it in stock. Yfy was not working if they have it???. The actual rooms could do with a face lift! The bathrooms are very nice so its a shame that our actual room let it down a bit!. a bit off-center. Noise from bar below passed midnight. Bed was uncomfortable, poor mattress. The stench of stale waste water contaminating the bathroom and bedroom. small bedrooms, no hairdryer, shower was rubbish. Given the tiny size of our room (11) the price was far too high. Without excellent customer service (almost impossible to achieve given the lack of a dedicated reception) or any added extras in terms of facilities, both of which could have made up for the stuffy room, it didn't represent good value for money. Very noisy and breakfast was awful - dirty cream jug used for milk with the previous nights cream still in it!. Poor tv. Screen too small to read. Poor choice of channels. Went to breakfast to find there was only one drink for each person. Couldn't even have a drop of juice with my one cup (not pot) of tea. Waitress took our order but immediately went and answered the phone and started taking a booking. She eventually took our order to the kitchen. She then stood behind the bar and had a personal chit chat with another member of staff. Room was not cleaned properly (dirty carpet), missing/ broken items e.g tv remote not in room. Broken items in bathroom - generally disappointing. Stairs lighting in room terrible no bedside light.
