  This was a special family trip to revisit places from 61 years ago. Age range of our party was 56 - 85. We were made to feel like part of the family and the staff could not do enough for us. Simon (boss) even advised where we should go site seein - Staff are warm and friendly adn efficient with a great sence of humour. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always smiling. The room we had was light, large and comfortable and spotlessly clean as were all other areas. They clearly work really hard to keep this place nice. Had dinner and breakfast there and the food is really tasty, well cooked and mostly sourced locally which shows in the freshness and flavour

  We booked in at around 7.30 on Thursday evening and the Receptionist, Sue, could not have made us more welcome or gone to any more trouble to make certain everything was right for our stay. I have not come across better customer care for some time and have just returned from a holiday in America where customer care is always excellent. The breakfast at the attached Brewers Fayre is fantastic value for money! Would definitely recommend a stay.

  The hotel was absolutely 1st class! It was modern, well set up, professionally run. The facilities too were excellent and the staff were very courteous and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and my wife and I will certainly be going back soon. - Everything was great food, spa, staff loverly

  I like the lady in the reception who checked us in earlier than their usual. She noticed that I called in for this request a week earlier and she was so gracious and lovely with it. My TV decided not to work after about half an hour - when I reported it to reception, they immediately offered me an alternative room, very quickly and efficiently done. The room was quiet and appropriately heated. All facilities were good and a good powerfull shower! Plenty of choice for the continental breakfast - again the staff were friendly and efficient.
