  It is a little way out from the very centre, but a straightforward walk from the Guest house (takes 20mins) and there are loads of buses for £2.50 for a full day as many journeys as you like you can't really complain!   Seriously, you could not get a better location, it really is in the heart of the royal mile and only 5 mins walk from the railway station. Up the line to be prepped. They also stored our bags so we could enjoy the afternoon.
