My children really loved staying at Sandown Manor: they called it the "best hotel they'd ever stayed at". The enjoyed the animals, games and playroom very much. The owners were extremely kind and helpful with us. They made us feel at home and willing to come back very soon.

Our host made us feel so welcome and has such a warm personal touch without being intrusive. The room has been lovingly decorated and offered all the usual facilities (the biscuits were really nice!). The food was absolutely incredible. It is quite rare to have such consistently good pub food - every meal was absolutely delicious! We didn't eat anywhere else.

We stayed here 3 times in recent weeks with a sick relative in hospital on the island. The staff were exceptional, very caring, compassionate and helpful. We loved the cottage, the cleanliness and facilities inside the cottage. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Fresh linen, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and a great ambience. W e would love to go back. Would highly recommend this place for families and even for couples. Great value for money. 5 stars for price, facilities and comfort.
