  The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities and an ensuite showerroom. This was small, but perfectly adequate. William the owner, was very helpful and loaned me an iron and board due to my wedding outfit being creased on the journey. Great value for money! - Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.We received a warm, friendly welcome. Miller House is close to train station, shops and a short walk to beach. I liked the free WiFi which worked well, and dvds which were provided. I left v early and did not have breakfast, but i will return and try it next time.

  Both my Husband and myself really enjoyed our stay at The Burnside Guest House. What a lovely welcome we received, and were given every piece of information we needed to enjoy our time there. Even my Gluten intolerance was catered for. Just wish we did not have to dash off early next morning. - Very friendly.   Everything was 1st class. Spotlessly clean guest house, friendly owner and staff, lovely comfortable bedroom with very large separate bathroom. The choice of breakfast is amazing for a small establishment and the food was lovely - all freshly made. Excellent location - minutes from beach or - The room is bright and clean. Although we had an external bathroom, there were no complaints at all because the bathroom was really huge. Quite a selection of complementry drinks in the room. Free bottle of mineral water which is uncommon for bed and breakfast. The guest house is very homely and tastefully decorated. The much ravelled about eggs benedict is really awesome, a good selection of cerals and fruits too. No complains at all. Beautiful beach walking distance away.

  The guesthouse is located in a nice part of Ayr, with shops and the beach just 5-10 minutes walk away. The house itself is nice. It's propably better suited for older travellers, but having said that, the owner made me and my two young children more than welcome. All in all you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in if you visit Ayr, especially at these prices. - Helen , the owner of The Richmond made us very welcome . The guest house has a great location being in a quiet residential area but still close to the seafront ( 5 minute walk) and city centre. I was with a group of friends rather than family and the large rooms allowed us to relax .A welcome change from cramped hotels. The breakfast was fantastic. I cannot recommend this high enough if you are visiting Ayr.

  Located very near the train station, so it was easy to walk to. Upon arriving we received a very warm welcome. We arrived a bit later in the evening and our host showed that he had been concerned about us and had attempted to contact us to ensure we were alright. They had all the comforts of home plus a tea and coffee set just - We have stayed in many places around and about and The Gatehouse has been one of those rated at the top of our list. Our room was light airy and relaxfu. It had everything you need and a very comfortable bed. Then view of The Isle Arran from our room was wonderful. The couple running the gatehouse are so very friendly they helped us plan our days out and when your strangers to the area a thumbs up of where to go is appreciated. The choice at breakfast time is well thought out we loved the break
