  It was a perfect place for a stopover between St. Andrews and Edinburgh, or a less expensive alternative to St. Andrews' hotels. The staff and accommodations were very good. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. We enjoyed a relaxing time in the pub adjacent to the hotel. We were fortunate to have a parking - For the cost of the accommodation, this hotel is a bargain. We thought it was as nice a place as a 5 star. The staff was great, especially Josh. The food in the restaurant, we ate all 3 meals there and were satisfied with all. We can't say enough positive. In addition, the location was perfect to walk on the costal trail and travel to St. Andrews. There is no available parking, but we had no problem finding something on the street.
