  I recently stayed in the Hilton in York and I have to be honest, I came away feeling ripped off. It nearly put me off trying the Hilton again. And I have traveled extensively in Asia and Europe. I stayed at the Double Tree at the Newcastle Airport because I had an early flight the next morning. My kids and I enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant before they headed back home to Durham. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The room was perfect.
