The crisp, clean room, very well equipped. Very modern but tasteful decor with seriously heavy quality furniture. Very comfortable bed. Light and airy roon. Big screen led TV with all the digi channels and a great breakfast with fresh fruit to pick from.Bathroom quite new and pristinely clean. Good shower and bath with plenty of hot water. Also the room ( luxury one) was quiet even with neighbours across the hall. Peaceful.
wszystkie opinie » I had a very enjoyable stay @ the clubhouse hotel. Stayed for 2 nights using it as a base to travel across various towns from Aberdeen to Inverness. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable eating in the bar area. The staff were excellent and could no do enough to make you feel welcome & relaxed in this hotel. I would certainly recommend this to my friends & family. We received a very warm and friendly reception on arrival, the room and hotel generally were spotlessly clean and very comfortable.Food from the restaurant was superb and very good value with plentiful helpings,drinks were reasonably priced and the bar staff were also very friendly and attentive.Looking forward to our next trip to the clubhouse 10/10. We liked the position of this hotel and also the size and personal attention. The restaurant was excellent, so much so that we ate there every night despite our proximity to other restaurants. Although not golfers ourselves the hotel and resort cater extremely well for the sport with several excellent courses nearby. Ultra modern decor and furnishings makes the hotel very different from what you expect in the Highlands. Our bedroom was very comfortable and the shower/hot water superb. Excellent menu in restaurant. I have stayed in numurous hotels in Nairn through the years and the Clubhouse is by far the best. I would definitely stay there again. The food was outstanding. I would highly recommend the hotel. Our Room was of a good standard. The staff were friendly. Good bar food and excellent cooked breakfast. The hotel has been refurbished in a modern and delightful colourful style. Top marks. We liked the size of the rooms and the bed, the layout and the decor. Niffty and workable idea and would have worked very well had he used a roller instead and not smudged all over the place. The main restaurant was closed during my stay and although the bar facility was fine it would be have been nice to have the choice to eat in the larger, more formal dining area. Climb to upper floor was a bit of a struggle, but we hadn't specified or stipulated any preference.we will ask for a room on a lower level next time. Can't think of anything. Everything was first class. The heating went off in the room too early in the evening - went to bed chilly!. the weather.... although the breakfast was good I found the bacon was very salty and only had it one morning out of three. No complaints whatsoever. We were disappointed on the second morning of our stay that poached haddock, which was on the menu, was not available. On arrival, our room was supplied with two bath towels and two hand towels. But on the second evening only one of each was supplied. I told the young, male owner, about the missing towels and he said he would attend to the problem, but he didn'T. For an hotel of this standing, these problems should not have occurred. As I was there working in the area it would have been better if breakfast was searved a little earlier Apart from that there's no complaint. Power shower great but need more protection to prevent water landing on floor. Restaurant was only open Fri, Sat and Sun. This was not stated at the time of booking. Location was a bit remote. The price, was incredibly costly for a night. Nothing. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great but that's the only slightly negative thing I would say!. Perhaps the colours were a little brighter than my taste!. nothing. Can't think of anything not to like. Nothing. nothing. room was a little small but that's being a little picky. Very small comment. Tea and coffee facilities were in the room, but no biscuits. Why?. Pillows were too flat. Had to ring a bell to gain entry at 2130hrs. Decor is not for anyone with a proclivity to migraine!. Room was in annexe and access to the main building was not under cover, not ideal in the blustery wet weather. En suite was a bit small, tired and in need of update. Service at breakfast the first morning was a bit chaotic due to staff member apparently not turning up. 2nd floor stairway rather steep and narrow,not good especially with cases. Minor comment made to staff on dusty areas in our rooms, mainly due to wood flooring and wool throws on the beds, otherwise impeccable. N/A. Nothing, great stay. Stairs to upper rooms. Nothing. None. Only thing i would like to see more bottled beers ie Carona etc but that is personal taste. nothing. The restaurant is not open on week days and you have to eat in the bar. Nothing.
