I had a really lovely stay at Lawrence Road. Maggie was really helpful and friendly and the accommodation was great. My bed was comfy, my room clean and cosy and the kitchen fully equipped. The little terrace out the back was adorable, I only wish I could have come when it was warmer. It's a 10-15 min walk to the station then 12 mins to oxford circus. Not ideally located but it was so cheap who cares. I'll definitely stay here again. wszystkie opinie »
Great communications with the one welcoming me. She was very nice. Also helped at night when I forgot the code to get in and everyone inside ignored me.
Clean and nice.
Nice kitchen, I did not use it, but it was nice.
Also had a great sunroom and a patio in the back.
Will most definitely stay here again.
Very modern, lovely facilities, a lot of attention to detail, extremely clean. Short bus ride or 20 minute walk to Tottenhale Train Station where you can get train straight to Stansted. Place not staffed but a lady (Maggie) who is very helpful, comes to open up.
I have used Lawrence Road for a few years now and still it maintains as being ideal for a city break.
Clean rooms, great kitchen for meals, plus the added bonus of a washing machine make this an ideal stop for those wanting good cheap accommodation.
Magda was extremely welcoming, the house was spotless at all times and well furnished with all mod cons. The tube is only 10 mins walk away with plenty of shops and take-aways closer. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to friends :).
The facilities were very clean and had all the essentials to cook. The
room itself was cosy and not too big, yet large enough to accomodate a
group of four. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy.
It was very clean. I really recommend it if you don't care about taken the underground to get to Londen. It takes about 10 minutes walk to the tube and 20 minutes by tube to be in central Londen.
Everything was as expected, yes people say the area isint the nicest, but who cares this place is nice and so are the staff!
Would stay again.A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE . THE HOTEL IS CONFORTABLE , CLEAN , AND MISS MAGGIE IS VERY VERY HOSPITABLE AND READY TO HELP HER GUEST .
Cleanliness, kitchen, good wireless net, fridge in the room, nice employees.
It is a nice place, as every thing you need is around.
Magdelena was SO welcoming! She is a credit to you!.
A lovely little place better than any chain.
the welcome, very friendly and efficient.
Very Pleasant , clean , and modern.
Perfect for going to the football.
Very cosy and affordable!.
Service. Cheap, very clean and comfortable accomodation.
The hotel room was clean and well appointed, the shower good, and dealings with the staff were efficient and friendly.
clean and comfortable, good facilities to cook and eat etc.We were met by Maggie who was very nice and welcoming.
The owner Maggie and the cleaning lady are very friendly. The rooms and common areas are kept clean.
the room was large enough, the tv function well, the house was calm at night; the facilities to make food were good.
patio.
Seven sisters is a bit dodgy and it's a bit of walk to the station but it's not so bad.
The bad was a bit hard.
Nozy since I had the room right with the front door.
Not a very nice area and not very pleasant to walk through. Especially at night. Looks very rough. Television didn't work either for the whole 3 days. Beautiful accommodation but not very soundproof. You can hear noise from rooms next door.
Remember to phone at least 1 hour before arrival.Failure to do can mean a long wait until somebody arrives to let you in..
It can be hard to find first time but okay after that.
The building itself was hard to locate if you are unfamiliar with the
style of address listings in England. It was a bit of a walk to get
there from the Underground, but honestly nothing to complain about.
Neighbourhood.
The quitenss ob the place.
Everything was fantastic!.
Nothing.
No dvd , and had to pay 20 pounds extra to check in because of late
check in even though I gave 48 hrs notice due to the plane time tables.
Nothing. Lack of basin in the room. Kitchen right by the room so was woken up by others getting breakfast.
Room No.1 was near the entrance, which meant that late night arrivals (at 2am and 4.30am) woke us up. The noise and movement of other guests meant that we did not get more than 4 hours' sleep. Guests should be told not to discomfort the stay of others, since this spoiled the qulaity of the stay.
Didn't like the area it was situated in. We spent a fair bit on taxis as we felt unsafe especially at night. It was a bit too far off the beaten track and probably a part of London you wouldn't normally visit.
The neighbourhood is quite dirty and makes you feel unsafe. I do not recommend for first time visitors to London such as ourselves. We were even told by a tube clerk that the area around Seven Sisters was not very nice. The location just did not allow us to feel at ease, there was always construction noises in the morning.
The house heating system was broken since day two; the bed was broken and the staff did not answer the phone immediatly to solve that; not enough clean towels to use neither room clean; noise because maintenance since early; somebody had steal my cereal bars in the kitchen in the last day-night.
noise
bad reception,kept waiting
not in a very nice road.
People who lives there were very noisy and toilets always busy and not clean as they told me should to be , one night some of the risedent knock the door at 3 am so I couldn't sleep that night at all.
