  We liked everything about the Verdene. From the helpful responses to my emails before we travelled, the friendly welcome on arrival, and the tasty veggie breakfasts that filled us up until lunch time, to the comfy beds, quiet room and sparkling new en suite. Run by a lovely family, and perfectly placed for our city centre concert and explorations,... co mówią ludzie » this is absolutely our first choice for our next trip to Manchester. I'm almost loathe to recommend it, as it's such good value and I'd love it to st - The staff were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel itself was very sweet. It's ahrd to find a room that can fit upto 4 people and for this price it was worth it. It is in the process of being done up, but I almost quick like the sweet dated decor as it adds character. It is very clean and comfortable. It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city centre too
