We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of London. Walking distance to Covent Garden, West End theatres, Trafalgar Square,Oxford & Carnaby Street shopping & more. Bus stops at the front of the hotel & 5 minute walk to Temple underground. Our room was spacious with a huge ensuite & the staff professional, polite, courteous & friendly & always willing to help. When we arrived the staff were extremely friendly. We were given a map of London and was showed where the local attractions were, and the closest tube stations too. We were upgraded to a larger room for our Honeymoon which had a balcony. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. We even had free snacks, bottled water, and a gift of chocolates waiting for us.

We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. Helpful staff, quiet on courtyard view, clean, cooking for ourselves saved money so made the price reasonable compared to hotel and cost of eating out. Staff arranged adjacent room for our family so we all met for family gathering. We will return. Near enough for river & Eye, Aquarium, Tower Bridge. Local area is interesting renovated old warehouses.
