  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   Employees were so friendly, I loved how friendly and hospitable they were. Location is much better than expected its right next to oxford street and shopping is perfect for that! There's a Sainsbury next to it as well as a phone shop which is perfect for a tourist. Doormen are super nice, and very helpful. I love this hotel and look - The young well trained staff are excellent. The Hotel entrance is amazing, very polite doormen opening doors into the fabulous foyer, probably one of the best entrances in London. The place was very busy with a young clientele. Our room 210 was a good size but did not feel it was the 28mts as was advertised. A large TV with over 100 channels. Good bathroom with huge walk-in shower. Good selection of drinks and a whole drawer of nibbles. Highly recommended.

  The whole package, location, staff, food was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. STK restaurant is fantastic with the best steak I have ever tasted. Lovely touches in the room with nightly bed turndown with choccies, mood lighting and a fully loaded minibar! The Radio Bar is a great sight with lovely staff and fab food again.   This was absolutely the most comfortable bed either of us has ever slept in. Seriously, it was the greatest bed of all time. We loved the wet room shower! Very cool. Our room was very quiet, we didn't hear a peep the whole stay and we even slept with the windows open. The decor is fabulous as well.
