  I highly recommend Caravel Guest House. It’s located in the centre of the New Town close to the railway station and the shopping area. The rooms are cozy and the toilets are very clean. For the price you pbly won't find a more original B&B. It is nicely situated, though closer to New Town so that you have to walk a bit to get to Old Town. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.

  Great location not a very long walk from the centre, very friendly and helpfull staff, clean nice warm rooms! - really pleasant place and nice staff. Excellent service and very good scottish breakfast!

  I would highly recommend this Guest House. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The vegetarian breakfast was deliciously unusual, I had a banana and burnt syrup pancake. I was very kindly given a plateful of food as I had mentioned that I have a long train journey ahead of me.
