I can say that my stay at Ashwood house was amazing, as the staff is so polite, attentive to all requests and always ready to help. The room with single bed was very clean, bright and warm, WIFI was working without any problems. The bathroom is just perfect, the shower cabin was very new and had a modern design. I thought the hotel was very well suited for people wanting to visit
Harrogate or attending a conference or exhibition. Even though I was in
a single room it was light and airy and the en suite shower was
exceptionally clean, very high standard. Breakfast was nicely cooked as
well as cereals available. Parking may well be a problem in the summer
but I used the car park behind the hotel and had no problems

The apartment was absolutely spotless, everything you could think of was there, fluffy white towels, toiletries, tea/coffee/sugar & bottle of milk in fridge. Big rug. The location was brilliant for Harrogate town centre - 5 minutes away on foot. We will definitely be going back. -
Although we booked a studio apartment we were surprised that there was a fair amount of space in the apartment itself. Plenty of crockery etc., and some tea bags, water and soft drinks which were a bonus. Ideal if you don't like the idea of having huge breakfasts at a B & B or hotel. We would definitely book these apartments again. Very central to the Town.

helpful. I was shown to my room rather than have it pointed out to
me, which I thought was a nice touch. I changed room after the first

From the friendly,informative receptionist to the wonderful,cosy
room,The Boars Head is a real gem! In a wonderful,picturesque
location,an ideal base for exploring and shopping! Have stayed in many
top hotels and the attention to detail in The Boars Head is excellent!
On arriving home I realised I had left my phone charger in the hotel
room,and after speaking to the receptionist,my charger arrived through
the post 2 days later.Excellent service!

A very friendly, home from home style guest house, despite being in the centre of Harrogate. I don't like hotels for being snooty and commercial so I'm very glad I stayed here - very smugly as my colleagues booked into the holiday inn at double the rate! Land lady was lovely, breakfast yummy and bed comfy :)

Room very clean all the ameneties we required. Very comfortable Good breakfast. Good central location. Would stay here again. Staff very helpful and always willing to help - Fantastic location, very good breakfast served by kind staff. All in all very good value for money - we will return.
