The staff were very helpful the room was clean and well appointed it was in need of some decoration but overall that wasn;t a problem. Beautiful building in a good location. Very friendly and helpful staff, almost felt like staying with family who look after you particularly well. - Superb hotel,staff and location, off road parking, excellent food, don't bother shopping about you wont find much better for the price.

It was convenient for the two places we wanted to visit. We felt that whilst the hotel was basic the receptionist and the catering staff were first class and made our brief visit a good experience. Breakfast was good! -

From the friendly,informative receptionist to the wonderful,cosy
room,The Boars Head is a real gem! In a wonderful,picturesque
location,an ideal base for exploring and shopping! Have stayed in many
top hotels and the attention to detail in The Boars Head is excellent!
On arriving home I realised I had left my phone charger in the hotel
room,and after speaking to the receptionist,my charger arrived through
the post 2 days later.Excellent service!
