Unpretentious luxury. We chose a room with a patio as it could be used if it rained since it was beneath the balcony of the room above. It was large with plenty of storage space and comfy chairs & sofa. We requested and received sheets & blankets as we don’t get on with duvets. The bathroom had both a bath & a separate shower, plenty of room for contents of wash bags with excellent well lit shaving mirror. The staff were friendly, smart & efficient. The lounge bar food was both .
wszystkie opinie » It is very difficult to find anything specific as everything was expected from seeing the reviews and pictures on the website, which totally do The Coniston justice. My partner is from Yorkshire and we visit regularly and the location was perfect. Just outside Skipton and on the outskirts of the stunning Dales National Park. A lot of time was spent in the beautiful lounge surrounded by the breath taking fire place, just reading and taking the in the views. We ate in the restaurant the first nig. I booked this hotel for a couple of nights on a special deal with letsbookhotel.com. It was excellent value for that reason. We have been a few times to eat here for family celebrations so I thought it would be an excellent birthday surprise for my husband. He loved it and so did I . Staff were helpful & friendly. We ate in both restaurants and had lovely food at each. Would recommend for a relaxing break. Would definitely come back. We so enjoyed our time here. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel it really is a fantastic hotel with open wood burning fires in the lounges. The bedrooms were excellent with very comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Our party all had the full Yorkshire breakfast and it was superb. We would all highly recommend this hotel and hope to return. Our room was fantastic and the terrace with table and chairs overlooking the lake made it even more special. It was so nice to have a separate bath and shower and the bath robes were a nice touch. The food both in the restaurant and the Huntsmans Lodge was of excellent quality. The location is excellent - very convenient for the Dales and surrounding countryside. Although next to a main road, there was no noise. Our room was fantastic; large, comfortable and well equipped. All the staff gave a real personal touch. We ate in the restaurant and the bar - both were great. We'll certainly return. The staff were quite superb, giving very personal and professional service; it made the whole stay special. The food was also exceptional, steaks cooked to perfection and fish that just dissolved in the mouth. The location was very attractive, with a variety of walks close by and the majestic Dales within easy reach. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We took our dog and she was made as welcome as we were. Bar very relaxing for an informal evening meal and our dog was able to stay with us. Menu could have had more variation on a daily basis. Breafkfast yogurts would have been better if kept cool by displaying on ice. Would have liked breakfast available until at least 10.00. Poor mobile phone reception. Would benefit the availability of spa facilities. The seating in the lounge and bar area are too low and deep not only for older folks but younger ones too. the cushions provided were being used by all to raise and decrease seat depth.not great for comfort when eating a meal.pity because the standard of furnishing throughout are high.Bar area too small to cope with amount of wedding guests. Cancellation of restaurant services at lunch and dinner for our second day without prior warning. The notice required however would have had to be given at rather short notice and so I can easily forgive this slight problem. Having to leave to come home. Nothing... it was lovely Although the chairs in the dining room were so comfy I fell asleep.. But that's not really a minus!!!. House keeping staff entered room even though we put `do not disturb` sign on. Bedroom was opposite a housekeeping store room / staff room which was noisy early in morning with staff talking as door left open. Nothing. Nothing. The only issue was the early check out at 10.30 and the rooms were very Hot!.
