Very friendly owners, did a lot of effort to advise on places to see. The room was very clean and had a wonderful view of the loch. Although the trip way up to the guesthouse would be tough on foot, by car it is no problem and you are away from the traffic noise of the main road, which is not the case for so many B&Bs located in the neighbourhood.Excellent breakfast. Will definitely recommend to others and we will be back. wszystkie opinie »
A very enjoyable stay at Lochview House. Wonderful view of the Loch from the sitting .room. Very helpful advice and tips of places to visit from the owner, comfortable and clean room together with a great breakfast - would definitely stay there again and would recommend to friends.
The wonderful views over the lake (serene-looking). The tranquillity of the house and the location, which is also within walking distance of Fort William and excellent to explore the area. The room was big as well as comfortable and the owners very nice and really helpful.
The owners could not have been more helpful and added value to our stay by advising and giving information re places of interest.
Fresh scone every afternoon were very much appreciated.
Fort William is very central for driving as well as walking activities.
a lovely self-catering apartment, the pictures do not do it justice, amazing views, close to the centre, lots of parking space, owners incredibly helpful regarding places to visit, lovely comfy beds, will return without a doubt.
The B&B was lovely and very in tune with local traditions. The staff were excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful with a great view of the loch and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.
Friendly welcome, afternoon tea every afternoon and an early start breakfast were all welcome as was the lounge to relax in, the full breakfast and a wealth of local knowledge when planing trips out. Highly recommended.
Amazing views from this place (in fact everywhere in Fort William) and this was a perfect location for a Ben Nevis trip. The staff were very friendly, the room had everything required and was good value. Spot on.
Lovely room with fabulous views over the Loch.
Plenty of parking.
Choice of breakfasts.
Very helpful owners - imparting lots of information on attractions. Overall enthusiasm for Scotland.
Lovely home.
The beautiful sceneries surrounding this house are incredible. The house is so warm and cosy. The owners of this house really treated us well and the breakfast was really good.
Peace and tranquility of the hotel and its superb views.
Knowledgable host who assisted everybody with events and locations.
Superb breakfast served by a very friendly host.
Location was good, staff were very helpful and friendly, and the loch-side view from some of the rooms was excellent. Our family particularly enjoyed the complimentary sweets.
Friendly and helpful owners.
Excellent breakfast. Well tended, colourful garden.
Some interesting wall picture/map collections.
A memorable visit, wished it had been longer.
Very friendly, excellent cooked breakfast and a wonderful collection of old maps of Scotland on the walls to enjoy. Handy overnight spot on my way to Inverie.
Friendly staff, fantastic views of the Loch. Single room was a good size with decent shower. Breakfast was of decent quality and there was a good selection.
The landlord/landlady were very friendly and helpfull, the whole place was spotless and the breakfast was very good. The views from the house are fantastic.
Very friendly owner with some great local knowledge that helped us make the most of our all too short stay. Nice comfy beds and a good hearty breakfast.
Good clean accommodation, friendly owner, good breakfast and within easy walking distance of the town. Garage parking for motorcycle.
Staff is very kind, we left early morning to climb Ben Nevis, helped us to organize transfer and prepared a breakfast package!.
Very nice and clean. Room had a tv and a water boiler with tea. I really loved how they served afternoon tea and scones.
i liked everthing the hotel had to offer food rooms views and easy parking enjoyable stay would certainly recomend it.
The lounge overlooks the loch and binoculars were provided.
Breakfast was nice.
Just minutes away from town centre.
The comfort, cleanliness, friendliness
all were welcomed after enduring a grueling 2 days of international travel.
Spotlessly clean and decent- sized room and bathroom. Host was extremely helpful with local directions etc.
The peace and quiet and wonderful views from our room. The comfort and 'family' feel of the guesthouse.
lovely comfortable apartment in a friendly B & B, very clean, everything we could have wished for.
Fantastic location, with beautiful views of the loch, immaculately clean and an excellent breakfast.
Staff were very friendly and helpful with local information and the beds
were extremely comfortable.

Clean, comfortable & a hearty breakfast. Lovely view of the surrounding countryside.
Nice welcome, the freedom to come and go and the breakfast with linen napkins very nice.
Great place to stay. The owner was very helpful and friendly.
Would highly recommend.
I liked pretty much everything- the rooms, the host and hostess, the breakfasts, etc.
Stayed in self-catering apartments - everything you could need was supplied.
the room was clean and comfortable. the staff really helpful and friendly.
Lovely room lovely en suite. Breakfast lovely. Beautiful views over loch.
very nice host, quiet location with a view, good breakfast.
Very friendly, familly-friendly atmosfere, great view.
The view of the Loch and Ben Nevis was awesome.!!!!!.
Friendly and warm welcome. Good local knowledge.
Nice, friendly people, and a lovely breakfast.
Very friendly and extremely helpful.
everything,will use again.
Amazong views.
The views!.
Peace and privacy of having own apartment. Good broadband connection. Quiet area. Comfortable bed.
It was Ok for the money. Clean and comfortable. Furniture a little dated.
Clean and friendly with excellent food.
nothing!.
The tiny bathroom which smelt kind of mouldy.
The hill up to the house requires good fitness level for anyone who walks to town.
the property is a hillside location & the roads are very steep but without this you would not have the views ! A taxi from the town only cost us £2.80 (the price of a decent cup of coffee) so the hill will only be a problem if you make it one.
The B&B sits on top of a small hill. It is approximately a 10 minute walk to town, however the return journey is up hill. This wasn't a problem for us, however other guests may struggle.
Nothing.
Initially the tricky drive up the hill to the premises.
Perfect, nothing to complain about.
Difficult to find at first.
The cooked breakfast portion was not the biggest, however cereal, fruit and yoghurt plus toast and jam was also provided. The yoghurt was still in its supermarket value pot, which didn't give the best impression!.
I thought the check intime was a bit late and time for leaving was a bit early, i totally understand the need for this but non the less, i found the above slightly negative but would not stop me going back, no way.
Having to leave!.
Nothing.
It was a bit expensive. Also, the wifi didn't work, which we really needed.
nothing whatsoever its a hard climb from the town.
We booked late so ended up with smallish side facing room.
It was OK but a front facing room obviously better.
Although close to town centre it is up a steep hill. We walked into town and back but might be difficult for less abled.
Nothing was disliked.
To be this far back from the loch, to get a good view you have to be quite high. I would not have liked to have to walk up the hill each time!.
Nothing...
Location is high up on the hill - could be problematic for guests with walking difficulties.A satnav would be helpful.
There was nothing I didn't like.
very steep hill to walk up - especially after a few drinks!.
The road up to the Guest House was very steep and nasty bends.
Wifi not working on top floor (signal too week).
The bathroom was very dated and the bath shower was difficult to get in and out of.
Nothing.
The walk up the hill to the Guest house after climbing Ben Nevis, but that is an age thing :-).
the walk up the hill back from town.
The walk to/ from the town which we were able to deal with but someone a little less able would find it difficult.
The furniture, particularly the sofa, could do with upgrading in the living area. Felt a bit dated overall, but each to their own desires.
Fort William is a grim and ugly town centre, I have visited several times and the place gets worse with each visit. Its a real shame.
Needs updating - shower and bathroom cramped with poor performimg shower and taps difficult to turn. This was one of the more expensive stays during our break.
