The bedrooms at the family-run, adult-only Alba B&B each have a private bathroom, located inside or outside the room, as well as a flat-screen TV and hairdryer. Delicious cooked breakfasts are served daily in the bright and airy dining room, featuring traditional Scottish items and local produce. Light continental options and fresh coffee are also available. • the view from our room facing the Loch was stunning • the room design was nice • the bathroom was clean and nice • shower pressure wonderful • Ben made us feel very welcome and gave us helpful advice about things to do in the area • nothing seemed like too much trouble to the owner (including using his microwave for our sandwiches) • the breakfast was fair: not a lot of selection, but we felt we could eat as much as we wanted • it was very quiet (however it seemed like we were the only guests.

Would defini. Ben, the host was very welcoming and friendly. He was kind enough to bring in my case as I was shattered after walking the West Highland Way over five days? He made sure I had everything I needed. The room we had overlooked the Loch and had amazing views. The bed was so very comfortable too. The next day a great cooked breakfast was prepared for us and all in all this was a perfect end to a great week. Ben was the perfect host, he gave us a warm welcome but gave us space to relax and enjoy ourselves. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated like a posh boutique hotel with attention to every detail. Ben made the most tremendous breakfast - I`m a porridge fan and he got it bang on both mornings of our stay.Would definately stya there again. Ben the landlord couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. A warm welcome and lots of useful information was given. We didn't spend much time in the Invernevis but it was very clean and comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in a great location. Beautiful spot overlooking the lake. Poor value for money. location was fantastic. • the room does get cold and damp (we visited at the end of October), so an extra heater wouldn’t hurt. The B&B is about 20 minutes brisk walk from the bus/train station (bear in mind if you're on foot carrying a luggage). Still, perfect for drivers. nothing. Bathroom needs some repair work. all facilities worked more a cosmetic clean up needed. Nothing. Our room was a little cramped and a little expensive at £120.00. Nothing. Steep driveway off busy road. Bathroom is a little bit small. Very cold in winter even with extra heater. Room was quite small--the door to the bathroom could not be opened fully because the bed partially blocked it. The decor is a bit old fashioned. that it s a none smoking , imagine waking up a 3am and go out to have a cigarette in the cold. Cleaning detail in the bathroom could be better, perhaps needs redecorating. Having to leave!. nothing. Shower didn't work properly but Ben assured me he wouldlook into that. no bath. Cleanliness of the bathroom was a letdown as noted by my wife, no sign of bleach being used. Timing of the hot breakfast should be improved rather than bringing it prior to the finishing of the cereals. Steep incline up to the house. Breakfast, although plenty, seemed to have been pre-cooked - eggs were on the hard and rubbery side. Musty, cold, overpriced, old fashioned and starting to be tatty. Décor and furnishings tired. Bed was although extremely comfortable was too big for room. Room was average and the bathroom was grungy/dirty. Room was not worth the price compared to the other B&B's we stayed at during our trip Breakfast was poor compared to others we had during our two week visit to Scotland Check out at 10am is not acceptable. Should be at the earliest 12 noon. You could not swing a cat in the room and had to walk sideways round the bottom of the bed,approx. 6 ",to reach the rather shabby ensuite,with a cracked bath !Much more expensive than the other b and b's we stayed in and not nearly so nice.Would not recommend it or go back !. very old hotel, not very well kept, facilities not good. Room was dirty. Empty milk containers from previous guest had not been thrown out. Several lights were not working. Carpeting needs to be cleaned. Bed was too large for the room - could not drag a suitcase between bed and wall as a result. Mattress too soft. Loud exhaust fan, (or was that a heater?) in the bathroom.
