Apartment decor and furnishings were beautiful, clean, comfortable and felt like a home from home. Location was perfect, walking distance to major shopping precinct, bars restaurants, art galleries and train station. Staff were very polite and helpful. -

Excellent facilities in large traditional Edinburgh house, central
situation with easy access to town centre and attractions. Very
reasonably priced for facilities and the fact that it was a Rugby
Weekend which usually incurs doubling the price by many other Hotels and
Guest Houses. Whilst the guest house doesn't do breakfasts there are
good facilities nearbye, although for this particular weekend the host
cooked all guests who were visiting for the rugby a great breakfast on
both mornings in h

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! From the time we arrived we were welcomed like family and we received excellent advice about things to do and see in Edinburgh. A really welcoming atmosphere in this old-style house in the area of the
Haymarket station (West-End). You will have comfort, cleanliness and an
excellent scottish breakfast! Do not be afraid of the dog: Bracken is
harmless. You can have a look of him snoring on You Tube! Une ambiance

The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. When I had three hours to wait until I could check into my next hotel, Margaret let me stay a bit late in my room. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The owner was very accommodating as we arrived early, he let us get the key from the cleaner, park our car in the car park underneath the apartment block and we could have even taken our luggage into it but we were just happy to park the car and then get on with sig

The Hotel is a real gem and is a credit to Doreen who gives attention to detail , lovely white fluffy towels immaculate rooms a real Home that is warm and relaxed good location two sets of keys no silly rules and good quality food , Doreen is on hand to help . we would all love to stay at the Star villa again so will be booking again soon.Perfect

It was very clean and the breakfast was beautiful. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Great for families as there was a fridge in the room. Great for couples or groups. Family room great three singles and a big double bed. Great charm to the house. I highly recommend it. Just book it! Camilla - Roscommon, Ireland.
