The apartment space was luxurious, comfortable, very well thought out and utilised - with modern open-plan living in mind, balcony with fold back door to seamlessly bring the outside space in, serviced to a high standard daily; friendly and very helpful staff. Very central location at the 'Lawnmarket' on the 'Royal Mile' in the Old Town, in the shadow of the castle itself - great for sight- seeing most within a very short walking distance and only a short bus ride to others.

The hotel was convenient to both old town and new town areas. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside.

The breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice. Everything was served to your table which was nice but I actually prefer a buffet where you can choose what you want as you eat. Right from the minute the lift opened at reception area, we were very warmly welcomed by two lovely girls who were genuinely pleased to see us.

Stayed in the Premier inn on Princess street from the 2th to 23rd of Nov 2013. The Hotel is just a 5-7min walk from the waverly railway station and is directly opposite the famous Edinburgh Castle. Although we dint spend much time in the hotel and dint get a chance to dine in, but the Hotel was very nice, Clean and had all amenities one could ask for. A value for money hotel for people travelling to Scotland and are in a mood to Explore rather than stay in!

We were extremely surprised by the quality of the hotel considering we paid 119 for a double room. Staff were of 5* quality, attached bar is fantastic with good beer, good food and live sport on big screens. Bedrooms are great. Would not hesitate to return. Plentiful parking for free at weekend and a 15min walk to centre. -

Was a bit worried that room was over the bar area bed room was actually very quiet and the hotel itself was in a nice quiet area. Excellent hot breakfast with haggis !
