Irene and Bill were very friendly and welcoming and very helpful guides
to a first time visitor to Edinburgh. The house was a beautiful older
style house that was very well maintained. It was cosy and warm. There
was an excellent choice for breakfast and although I didn't choose a
cooked breakfast I could see other that guests did and it looked
delicious. The tea/coffee making equipment was for a single guest
but Irene happily provided extra for my son - a student in Edinburgh who

The hotel is easy to drive to and parking was no problem. The owners are lovely people and make you feel very welcome. Really enjoyed the breakfast both food and the chat.
Everything, warm greeting from Bill, room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Not too far from City centre £1.50 on bus around corner.

Irene and family make you feel so welcome. The place is lovely, just outside of town, with a great warm family feeling. Comfy beds, great shower, spacious rooms.

It's really hard to find fault. The TV was too low on the stand!? Is that really a fault?! Absolutely not. Love this wee hotel. A fabulous experience.
No wifi connection at the room. Though available at the common room, it is not convenient to go down in the night for wifi connection
My room wash basin was not working well during my stay period. But that is a minor problem that can be easily fixed.
