  We were in paignton for a wedding, and liked the fact that we had a key to the front door and were able to come and go as we pleased, the staff where very helpful in offering more facilities ie curling tongs and hairspray etc breakfast was very pleasnt and lots of menu choice, we also liked the fact that we picked our breakfast before hand. the br... co mówią ludzie » eakfast area was clean and tidy and you couldnt smell the cooking, (very off putting at some places we have stayed) - Beecroft Lodge is excellently situated if you want to explore Torbay. It is in a quiet street and is scrupulously clean and very comfortable. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with free range scrambled eggs, very good smoked salmon, fresh fruit and home-made marmalade. A real find.

  We liked the room we had, huge bed! Big room with sofa. Clean with good facilities. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of things to have. Owner was a nice friendly lady that made us feel welcome.   A lovely warm welcome. Bedroom was very clean and comfortable and complimentary water was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was a high standard. The position of the hotel makes it an excellent base for exploring the area. There is a footpath leading to the coastal path just minutes from the front of the hotel. The owners work incredibly hard and take great pride in their hotel. We had our evening meal in the hotel and the food was very impressive. The breakfast was good. Excellent value for money. We were able to walk to Greenway House and also walked into Brixham a couple of miles away.

  The views at Beacon House are to die for, from our room, from the breakfast room and from the garden there are magnificent vistas of Brixham Harbour. Nigel was the perfect host with heaps of ideas and suggestions for our stay. A 10 minute walk down the hill and we were at the harbour and town centre, very convenient. In the three weeks we have been in B&B's around the uk t - The owners, Nigel and Amanda were so friendly and welcomed us both with a pot of tea and homemade flap jack to die for. Nothing was too much trouble. They are new to the area but have embraced Brixham and familiarised themselves with the local history and offer wonderful advice for restaurants and bars. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with everything clean and well maintained and I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. The sun shone in the morning and the views were truly fantastic.
