The staff were all very friendly,the location was spot on ,near to beach and to town,less than 5 minutes walk away from the hotel.
Car park entrance is hard to spot?,needs a sign.
A most enjoyable stay at a very comfortable Hotel, we couldn't fault anything and would stay again. 10/10

The only thing I missed was a Kleenex-box. I think Kleenex in the bathroom of such a hotel shoud be a must!

Noise from the bar was an issue - music up to midnight, but this is probably true of most popular hotels.

It was close to shops and restaurants and bars; the inhouse bar and restaurant, 1812 - superb food, great atmosphere, friendly staff.
Parking could have been better designed and sign-posted.
I'd like to make a special mention to the receptionist who checked me in - she was very helpful and polite and full of smiles, made me feel welcome, not just another face at the hotel. The breakfast staff were also helpful and efficient.
It had been a warm couple of days and it would have been a good idea be good if air conditioning was installed - unfortunately the position of my room meant that leaving the window open at night had let in a lot of street/bar noises and disturbed my sleep.

I would have preferred a residents bar. To enter the two bars (which were very lively and definitely a popular nightspot) you had to go outside of the hotel and use the non-residents doors, unless you were lucky enough to want to go there when the receptionist was available.

We had requested room with a bath, but there was a shower only. There was no mini-bar in the room. The breakfast coffee was cold, the black pudding request was forgotten and the brown bread toast arrived white
Nice settings inside. Very spacious and clean although read below.
The lift was out of order and no help was offered with luggage. Thetoilets that are sign posted from the dining room were filthy from theevening before. We stayed as part of a large group attending anengagement party held privately at the lower bar of your hotel.
