  I had to visit Birmingham recently and booked Gables Nest at very short notice. The price was excellent, the room was spotless, the breakfast was top notch, easy access to the city and most of all, the welcome from the owner, Mal was so friendly. I would definitely use Gables Nest again and recommend it to friends.
